Couldn't get all the way in
Although I found this relatively easy to push straight in through the wallboard, I could only get it a very small way through the beginning of the curved part. At that point it refused to go in further, and the head was so close to the wall that had it gone any further without curving away significantly, the head would have gouged the wall as I turned it. I don't think I ran into a stud, though that is a slim possibility. I decided to just paint a nail to match the wall and use that instead. I like the look and the concept, so I'm disappointed that it wouldn't work and will be somewhat reluctant to try it in the future, even if I do have a need.

Best Way to Hang a Picture
I had several new pieces of art to hang; each requiring two points of contact with the drywall. After finding (and then avoiding) the studs, it was easy to push the hangars into the drywall. The wire on the back of the pictures hung perfectly. They are rated to hold far more weight than these pieces of art weighed, so I can be confident there will be no problem there. The holes the hangars make are so small, I can just paint over them if/when I want to move the picture and have the wall without holes.
