Menomino Moisturizing Gel came with twelve 3.5 g applicators that seem to consist mostly of collagen and plant-based substances and ill-advised menthol (more on that in a painful moment).The Good: Inserting the product was effortless, though it did take a few minutes to figure out that the removable covering at one end of the applicator goes into the space at the other end after taking off the end cap and then used as a plunger to dispense the product. The written directions do not mention this and the illustrations under them do not really make it clear either.Regardless, once applied the wife reported an initial cold sensation that wasn't troublesome. The product did seem to absorb fairly well and there was little significant leakage in the hours afterwards.The Not So Good: While the wife didn't experience any unpleasantness, I unfortunately was not as lucky. I don't know why there is menthol included amongst the ingredients or what purpose it serves, but suffice to say, this is NOT a personal lubricant to be used prior to adult fun time. Given the decreased sensitivity of a woman's interior regions compared to a guy's external one, one can understand the differences in perception. Imagine applying a muscle rub cream to one's swizzle stick and you get the idea. Therefore, caution is advised and to wait a sufficient time between application and absorption and attempting a manual docking procedure to avoid retro rocket burn.I also have to knock off points in my rating for the contradictory directions that say to insert the product only as far as it will comfortably go, yet also state it is for external use only. Even with my modest knowledge of female anatomy (according to the wife at least), something doesn't jibe and makes me wonder how safe it is to be used over the long run.Overall, while the product does seem to offer some benefit and caused no issue for her, but due to the fact there are no warnings about it not being a friction reduction gel and should not be used immediately prior to activities with a partner do I have the biggest issue. Absent any written warnings, I'm sure a lot of other customers might assume otherwise and experience the detrimental effects of the unnecessary menthol. Therefore, caution is advised.

This works really well and lasts a long time. The individual applicators make it super easy to use!

Some got onto my hand while trying to attach the back piece and it smelled of “must and menthol”. Like I had been cutting onions with vapor rub on my hands and I hadnt touched anything of the sort. Otherwise, the product seems to work but I dont want my lady part to have that particular scent

Nice cooling feeling when used and worked well

Well, there is definitely no disguising what this product is thanks to the packaging. Doesn't really matter to me, but it might to some. I only used one and the rest went in the trash. The reason is the SMELL. I cannot imagine the discussion around the people who formulated this product. "Hey, let's make that area smell like deep heating rub just for the heck of it. Then we can say it helps with unnatural odors."!!!!!! Unnatural odors...their words, not mine. What is more unnatural than a woman's private area smelling like menthol rub! I don't understand how it got five star ratings, but to each their own.

Fast acting. No waiting.

After opening this vaginal moisturizer, it emits a strong medicinal order, which is not pleasant. Upon applying it, it has a cooling sensation similar to mint, which is not very comfortable. The good thing is it does feel quite moisturizing and easy to use. But I won’t use it again because its smell.
