Does its job but its not loud and doesn’t have volume setting

With a blue tooth system to connect it to a smart phone would have been much better for increasing the volume. Besides the volume is not sufficient to suppress the barking of dogs, TV sounds etc. At least an ear phone socket would be sufficed.
