Product Description The McCrary Sisters (Ann, Deborah, Regina and Alfreda) are the daughters of the late Rev. Samuel McCrary one of the original members of the legendary gospel quartet The Fairfield Four. The daughters were raised in harmony, singing at home and at their father's church, but word soon spread of their individual accomplished voices and each began sharing the family vocal legacy as solo artists with a wide range of performers to include Bob Dylan, Elvis, Isaac Hayes and Stevie Wonder. The 11 track album is produced by Buddy Miller.

The Amazing McCrary Sisters
Called the McCrary Sisters these really are siblings, their father being the late Reverend Samuel McCrary. Ann, Regina, Alfreda and Deborah obviously have their dad’s talent in their blood, as although great by themselves they become even more amazing together. With perfect harmony these sisters really do rock. Although not religious I do love Gospel, it just has great tunes, great singing, upbeat and is full of soul, and there is that feeling here. You have probably heard of these sisters before, not necessarily all of them, but they have sung with some really big names through the years, and it is no wonder why. They all have powerful voices, but also know when to rein them in to give a softer and quieter sound. Produced by Buddy Miller this is an album that you can never hear enough times and Buddy joins them on a few tracks here, as well as the current The Fairfield Four and Allen McCrary on Don’t You Let Nobody Turn You ‘Round.Of course on an album with these sisters you expect to get that Gospel sound, but this gives you more than just this with a selection of Americana elements. Whatever track you listen to here there is always the sisters, giving it their whole and making you want to get up, stomp your feet and clap your hands. If you love great music, great singing all of it full of energy and soul, then you can’t go wrong here.

so it has a lot of acclaim and one could say that it is time that the McCrary Sisters were recognised for their amazing talent.
This album produced by Buddy Miller, was previewed at the Celtic Connections 2015 and live on Radio 2 to get acclaim. 4 star review in the GUardian and the thumbs up from the blues fraternity, so it has a lot of acclaim and one could say that it is time that the McCrary Sisters were recognised for their amazing talent. A totally uplifting record.
