Mini games console
The media could not be loaded. Got this mini games console for my son to play on train journeys. This console is small enough that you can actually just about fit it in your pocket! It comes with a cable to plug it into the TV (if you have the connections) and an instruction booklet. The instruction booklet is actually quite useful as it has info on how to play the top 40 games on the machine. Good for beginners so they actually have an idea of what they’re supposed to be doing in the game. The console has a clear screen and a handful of buttons to use within the games. The buttons are responsive and there’s no delay. There’s also a volume wheel to turn the volume up and down. There are 142 games on here and none of them seem to be duplicates with different names, which is good. They’re all NES style games and I only recognise a couple but they’re all bright and simple games to play which is good for the intended age bracket of 4-9.The console takes 3x AAA batteries (not included) which is good as they’re cheap and easy to replace. I did find the speaker location quite annoying as my son keeps accidentally covering it up and then tutting at the muffled sound before moving his hand away from that area.Overall, I’m happy with this games console. It’s small, it has a varied selection of simple games which are great for a younger child, and the buttons and controllers work without delay. My son seems to be enjoying it… if only I could get him to turn it down! 😂

Low tech retro fun
Quite fun, but you get what you pay for! Low quality graphics, but got that retro vibe! Very small screen.

Old school games
Screen on the hand held brilliant but very small when pluged in to TV disruption lines appear very off putting?

Fun games
It's nice to see one of these devices that isn't the same "500 in 1" set of broken, foreign language games that are flooding Amazon. This actually has a nice variety of games, which of the ones I've tried, have all worked properly. I'm not saying they're great games, but at least some effort has been put into curating them.
