Q: How long can you freeze biltong, 6 months or longer?

Can't answer. I have frozen biltong slices wrapped in cling film and also brown paper for 3 weeks. The meat dries a little but I still enjoyable. Haven't the will power to try it for a longer period, having just snacked on 250gm! Will give it a try and post the results.

Q: You state that the manufacturer says it contains no preservative, what about the potassium sorbate?

The manufacturer states on this product,’We NEVER use any artificial colouring or flavouring in any of our products’. I am only quoting their claims not analysing them. If you believe potassium sorbate contradicts their claims, suggest you contact them not me.
