Wood Sunglasses - 100% Brown Bamboo Unisex Sunglasses with Polarized Lenses UV400 - Light & Strong Floating Wooden Frame

I picked these sunglasses up as an alternative to ones that I've been using everyday for the past three years. What drew me to these sunglasses was the style and materials used to make the product. The hinges work nicely, the lens clarity is nice, and the wood has a nice, light feel to it. For everyday, walking around use, I could find no fault with these sunglasses. They fit my large head nicely and there were no odd pressure points that made the glasses uncomfortable.That said, there was a drawback for me and it was primarily with the lenses. While they provide nice light reduction in sunlight and are clear, they seem to glare quite a bit in the inside. This flaw is very apparent when you use these sunglasses while driving where the sunlight angles into the driver's side of the window. While there's minimal glare when looking straight through, your peripheral vision can see the reflection of the sides of your face and sometimes even the sunlight itself. For the first few minutes driving with these in traffic, the glare distracted me a bit until I noted where they appeared and made adjustments to where I look while changing lanes or watching adjacent lanes.Would I recommend the product? Yes, but be wary of your "use-cases."

Pretty good wooden sunglasses. They are a little big for someone like me who has a skinny build (5'11" 171 lbs) with a fairly narrow face structure. But they still look good. I've had a few pairs of wooden sunglasses and these are the best yet. They float in water, which is great for someone like me who spends a lot of time kayaking and fishing. All in all they're a pretty good pair of shades.

I was disappointed with these. The build quality is just not there for the price. No difference between these and the more affordable options on Amazon. One of the primary things I look at when determining quality of sunglasses is the quality of the hinge. The hinge is just a standard spring loaded, and a cheap one at that. I expect these to break in no time. The finish on these look plastic. The stain wasn't applied properly and takes away from the natural porous look of the wood. The packaging is cool though.

I would love to give this product 5 stars and if I'd left a review upon receiving them I probably would have. They are light and fit nicely. I've only had them about a month, I order them on 7/4/16 and received them a few days later. I've only worn them a few times and just last Saturday, 8/6/16 I was wearing them and the thin part of the frame that goes around the lens simply came apart along the wood grain line. I didn't drop them or anything else. They simply cracked - I suppose that's a problem when using wood for frames. They just aren't nearly as strong as my other sunglasses.So if you plan on purchasing these, don't be disappointed if they simply crack along the grain. I'll post a picture later so you can see what I mean.I sent an email to the manufacturer, but have heard nothing.

Frames fit nicely the polarization is on point. Much lighter than other wayfarers. I did not receive the box in the description which is all that prevents these from being a 5 star product.On top of all the positives above I have had my glasses for about a week and get a lot of compliments on them. I didn't realize they had hidden spring hinges.I had written also about not receiving the bamboo box. Well I am happy to say the company contacted a fulfill the product description. Glad to see some companies REALLY believe in quality customer service.

I love these sunglasses. They are great for people with larger heads. I wear a size 7 5/8 hat and they fit perfectly. I prefer the woodie look in darker colors for daily wear. My next purchase will be in zebra wood to make more of a statement. Customer service is very responsive to suggestions and has an all to rare personal touch. Please keep up the good work.

I like this product, is the first time I buy wood subglasses and In very happy, just one thing, about the supports arent straight (in touch with head) this make illusiion of bigger frame.On time delivery!Good product!

This is a stylish brand but you will be the cool kid at school for about 20 days and the slightest bump or anything short of a wind will break these glasses. Then when you go to the site for help or a possible refund or replacement you have to navigate there uber cool lingo to find out you get neither unless of corse you were abducted by aliens. I was very disappointed in these glasses and I would have thought for 60 dollars they would have lasted me longer than 3 weeks.
