Cuts through turf to a good depth. Foot pressure and arm pressure guarantee nice cut to even depth.Really pleased with this item. Used against a sturdy plank, edge of lawn best it has ever looked!

This edging tool seems to conflict itself in terms of quality, with a very robust and effective cutting blade at one end and a flimsy 'plastic toy' handle at the other, which is not nice to hold due to the rough moulding seem.Only time will tell how long the tool will last before the handle fails as with another reviewer but at less than a tenner delivered I cannot complain to much.

A previous manufacturer's edging spade soon broke around the neck when giving it too mush heave ho in the garden. The pressed shape of this model means that you can be a bit brutal and use it another day. Stainless head means that the soil does not cling as much and it is easy to wash off at the end of the job. A longer shaft would have been helpful for me, but it is good value for money.

Really easy to use. I have bad hands and wrists and needed a lightweight spade. This is perfect. Nice sharp tool, made edging a previously not edged border easy. Good buy.
