Is it me, or is £35.95 expensive for a bog seat!? Well i had no choice with having to purchase this one. It’s the only one that fits our small close-coupled compact toilet in our downstairs cloakroom. It’s a tricky seat to find as its so small, and this is the exact perfect fit for what we need. It’s a good quality, hardwearing loo seat, as its just replacing our current one which is now a little aged, going a bit yellow and the soft=close function had stopped working. I know this is the correct size etc as I always keep the boxes to make ordering another in the future so much easier. Great little loo seat. Soft close seat and lift that close independently of each other. Delivery took a couple of days, and not available on prime, but no worries there for more me. Just wasn’t keen on the very pricy cost of it 😂……hence 4 star rating.

I don't know if we have a non-standard toilet, but the holes for the seat are only 12mm dia whereas the grommets that are used to fit the seat from the top are 14mm dia. Why can't they provide a range of different-sized grommets?So I had to work in a very confined space to fit the seat from underneath. There are 3 washers, 1 nut and a plastic tightening tool. Try balancing all these in one hand below the toilet while the other hand is trying to insert the bolt from above! In the end I glued them all together and inserted the bolt successfully. But, with only one tightening tool supplied, I had to fiddle around with a spanner to fit the other assembly.These difficulties apart, the seat looks nice and works OK.

Having recently moved our bathroom suite was made by Roca The toilet seat soft close broke and I looked for either a replacement hinge set or seat.The Cheapest hinge set I could find was over £60 and the seat was over a £100.WOW I thought, so after getting the dimensions I found this seat, ok its not exactly the right shape at the front but for the price difference I can put up with that.the delivery was quick and the fitting of it as a top fixing was 10 minutes and the seat was on.I have another Roca toilet in the utility so I feel a little easier in the knowledge that in the case of failure I can replace it for a fraction of the original fitment price.Thank You Euroshowers.

Ordered this to replace a BathStore self closing seat which has been replaced 3 times in 7 years. the first two times under warranty. These were expensive at around £40.00 each.. Euroshowers were the only supplier to have a D shaped seat in the size I required. Arrived in 2 days.Seems to be well made , with good quality fittings. Only time will tell on how long it will last. None that I could find on the UK market seem to have a replaceable self close module.Come with top and through fittings.The fit is pretty good, within a few mm of the original.

This seat is not fit for purpose. Was never ideal as it constantly moved on the fittings and then the slow close hydraulics totally failed after 10 months. Do not waste your money!

Excellent Product It took me half an hour to remove the old seat and 10 minutes to fit the new one using the top fittings. It was so simple to do I bought another to put away for future use. By the way my toilet is one of those where you cant get into use the bottom fixing hinges because of its shape and design.

Easy to fit, item as described and delivered on time. Secure fitting with sturdy seat at a good price. Happy with purchase.

I bought this because the reviews were great. But the seat is not easy to install...you have to make sure there is not overhang of the lid or doesn't fall short of the seat either....I struggled a lot it took me an hour to install and it's still not perfect (feel free to give me more tips please?)
