Comptoir Sud PacifiqueEDT Spray, Vanille Coco, 3.3 oz

This is one of my very favorite Comptoir scents. It’s a great blend of vanilla & coconut without being too sweet. While it doesn’t last all day, it feels like Maui the minute you hit the spray. It must have other notes because it doesn’t smell anything like the awful suntan lotions. It’s light, but there; a very happy scent that makes you think of all good things. I’m always asked what perfume I’m wearing & some men write it down for their wives or girlfriends. It helps to know how to spell it correctly! Buy it.

Unfortunately, I received a bottle of minimally scented water. The package was not sealed (my first clue). At first I thought I had received the wrong scent as I caught the essence of banana, which is another Comptoir Sud Pacifique product. Lastly, with a healthy application, the scent is barely perceptable. While the rest of the packaging is likely to be real, the fluid inside is not perfume. As this comes from Amazon directly, I am searching for a way to get a refund or a replacement product as the real thing does smell delicious.

This is my second Comptoir Sud Pacifique perfume that I've purchased (actually the first one my husband gave me). The other one I have is Vanille Extreme, which lasts all day. In contrast, Vanille Coco is not as intense. This is both a good thing and a bad thing. It's more subtle and unassuming, but it doesn't last very long on me. Normally, perfumes last a pretty long time on me because I have oily skin. I really like the notes in this perfume though. The first note I smell is banana cream pie. Then, I smell coconut and vanilla. The vanilla is the strongest note. I was hoping the coconut would be more prominent, but I still really like it. I got compliments from two different people in just the first day I wore this. One person told me that I smell like summer, which made me happy.UPDATE: I had to lower my rating to three stars because I underestimated the length of time it lasts. I did a comparison by putting Vanille Coco on one wrist and Vanille Extreme on the other wrist and Vanille Coco was such a let down. It only lasted an hour (and it was weak almost immediately) whereas Vanille Extreme lasted all day. I think that maybe the bottle I received of Vanille Coco was expired. I know they came out with a third bottle design recently. This is still in the second bottle design (as pictured in the ad). I don't think it's counterfeit, but I do think it was sitting on the shelf for a very long time. That must be why it was half the price.

I ordered this because I smelled it on a friend and LOVED it- very tropical vacation feeling. But when it arrived, it was a tiny bit too sweet for my everyday taste. BUT... my daughter LOVED it- a miracle. I have been trying to get her to use less toxic perfume for a very long time. I can hardly breathe when she puts on her cheap colonge. This, on the other hand, is French an lovely and not chemical scented at all. It's all good.

Not to sweet, good coconut smell, good value. I am always satisfied with Comptoir Sud Pacifique fragrances--wish the company would make more body products!

Smells like creamy whip cream with vanilla, coconut, and a hint of banana.This fragrance last a very long time . I put it on in the morn and i can still smell it at least 12 hrs later.

And I love it on her.She has used this scent for a couple years now, The vanilla is great.

Amazing scent. I wish I could have every thing smell like this.I am sad that the product has been discontinued
