Great shoe, but the U.S. size chart is wrong
The clip-ins work fine and are very easy to clip in and out. The shoe looks like a regular walking shoe and it's perfect for walking around after getting off the bike (pub, restaurant, sidewalks, hiking path). The laces can be drawn tight or loose to allow for varying foot widths. I love the shoe and would buy it again. The only problem is that the U.S. sizing chart is definitely wrong. I am from the U.S. and always buy a size 12 shoe (which equates to a size 48). For this shoe, however, I had to purchase the U.S. size 14 to get the right size. The sizing chart for this shoe erroneously shows that a U.S. size 14 is the equivalent of a 48. It should show that U.S. size 12 is the equivalent of 48. So if you are using the U.S. sizing chart, order a size or two larger than what you normally purchase. This U.S. sizing chart problem has been called out by many of the reviewers of this product. The reviewers are correct when they say that if you order your normal U.S. size, the shoes will be too small for you.

Good shoes
Size runs a tad small, and it's fairly stiff. I haven't decided yet whether that's a good thing yet, but they work great, fairly comfortable.

A 47 that fits for biking and walking
After biking only 8 miles, I can say this is a great buy. The shoes fit as expected for a 47. A narrow fit at first, but they loosened with slight wear to fit me fine. They are firm for biking, yet convenient for walking (I did not go any more than 200 yards at any one time.). I wish they had some color added to the black to attract them - they are worth it! I strongly advise people give these a try. They are worth every penny if they fit.

Nice, but not for wide feet.
Normally, I wear a 10 or 10 1/2 (44 EU). I ordered these as an 11 (45 EU), but they were a tad too small, both in width and length. Overall, they seem like quality shoes.

Sleek look, grippy, good sizing
I love the sleekness of the shoe, streamlined like a bike shoe should be. Not bulky.Sole is grippy so it works well on a MTB flat pedals if you want.Cleats: Yes, they are recessed and fit SPD and can be adjusted forward/backward left/right. But I don't think they're recessed enough for walking because I can hear my cleats hit the cement and scratch. Plus, the sole/shank is stiff (as it should be for biking) so there isn't that much flex for walking.Nonetheless, it might be the cleats I have (though they're pretty standard). And walking around with the shoe with cleats isn't a usual thing bicyclists do much of anyways.Clipping in: Some reviewers complain of the difficulty in clipping in. With all clip-in shoes it takes some getting used to so first-timers have to practice a little and eventually it becomes natural - even in a recessed clip. And further, it might depend on the location of your cleat, where you feel most comfortable, so there may have to be some adjustment. Yeah, adjusting is a bother taking the shoes on/off/unscrew/rescrew/try again/ blah blah blah but you'll have to do this with any shoe! Lastly, adjustment of the pedal clip tension is important as well to be able to clip in and out. And don't forget that the clips eventually wear so it might be easier after a while to clip in but then after a while more you need to replace the clips.Sizing: I wear US 10.5 and ordered 11 which fit real well. Heel holds well.

Very versatile Cycling Shoes, but a Little Tight
The primary advantage of these cycle shoes is the protective guards surrounding the clips which allow you to safely walk in these shoes without fear of damaging the clips. I do not recommend walking long distances in these shoes, but they are fine for walking to and from the locker room at the gym or when weight training before or after a spin class. With these shoes, there was fear that I would not be able to get them on the clips of the pedals of the bike, but they snap onto the clips with ease (it is easy to remove them as well by twisting your feet outwards). I also like the fact that the shoes are secured by conventional show laces, which I think are more durable than the straps (it also allows them to look more like regular shoes). The only issue with these shoes is that they are a little tighter than shoes of this size (I purchased the largest size available), but I can live with it. Overall, I do highly recommend these shoes, but you should probably get at least one size bigger than you normally would buy.

Stable and well built
Pleasantly surprised by these shoes. The build quality is clean and sturdy, the midsole is flexible enough to walk/workout in yet stiff enough to support long rides. An all around great shoe for a riding session/gym workout.

They run small
As others pointed out the sizes run about a 1/2 size small. I wear a size 10 1/2 so I ordered an 11 and they fit well. Only one ride in them and they feel comfortable.

The reviews about how it runs small is very true! Buy a size larger! I followed it and it fitted perfectly! Good shoe for the price too!

Practical
Use these shoes on my road bike. They are comfortable to ride in and walk in when not on the bike. Having a coffee after the ride, with the recessed cleats no need to remove shoes, can walk naturally.
