These are MAGIC
I recently returned from a 7-day camping trip on a lake, and I have to say, these things are truly magic.First, I get bitten ALL THE TIME. All the time. I'm always the one in the group mosquitos flock to; my life is a constant battle against these creatures. I have never had anything keep mosquitos away like this before.I've used a Thermacell for years, and it works great, but the cartridges are expensive, and you have to constantly check to ensure they haven't run out. I took one with me on this trip and—aside from the first night—we never ended up using it. I also brought every imaginable type of mosquito spray, and while some work very well, I hate having to constantly spray chemicals all over my clothes and body. Finally, I brought citronella candles and incense, none of which we ever used. These bands did away with the need for all of it on this trip. They are so easy to use; I just slipped one on my leg and completely forgot it was there. I only took it off in my tent before bed, and each morning I put it back on. I brought one for everyone in my group, and none of us got bitten once while wearing them. I actually began to think there were no mosquitos until I forgot to put it on one morning and suddenly started getting bitten! That was the last time I forgot, and the only bites I received the entire trip.As far as comfort, you don't even notice it's there. It's durable; I only used one band the entire trip, and it worked the whole time. There is a mild smell of citronella, but it's so subtle you wouldn't notice it unless you put your nose next to the band. It's enough to keep the mosquitos away but not anything you'd mind wearing. The colors are cute and allow everyone in your group to pick their own personal favorite. I used the green. The 60-count is super generous considering they're supposed to last for two weeks each. I can attest to their effectiveness for at least the seven full days in the woods near water. I am so in love with these that I will be giving them away to everyone I know and buying more as soon as I am even close to running out.As someone who has spent their life battling mosquitos, I am a convert.

Somewhat Effective, Not good for Kids
I am somewhat dissatisfied with 60 Pack Mosquito Repellent Bracelets, DEET-Free Mosquito Bands for Adults & Kids, Individually Wrapped Repellent Wristbands, Camping Travel Beach Essentials. I forgot to take them with me when I went camping! That was my fault. But I did break them out when we had our block party. Many of our neighbors got together to share food and games in the middle of the street where we live. The bugs were bad, so I got out my box of mosquito repellent bracelets and gave them away.We did not have any trouble with mosquitos. So they do work as advertised! But we were inundated with gnats. The gnats were awful! They flew in our eyes, up our nose, in our food, in our mouths when we tried to talk. I've never had such a trouble with gnats!Looking back on that event, I guess we should have gotten out some citronella candles, or lit vanilla scented candles or sprayed ourselves with peppermint oil. I can't really down-grade a mosquito repellent because it doesn't stop gnats. But what I do question is letting kids wear them. The neighborhood children all took a mosquito repellent bracelet. And then they proceeded to suck on them and chew on them. I cautioned the parents, explaining that these bracelets were bug repellents, but they didn't seem to care. The kids LOVED the bracelets. They started taking more than one. One child had four on- on each wrist and ankle, and had several more opened in her pockets. I eventually took the box of bracelets away. But I can't get over seeing that all of the children had put the bracelets in their mouths. All of them! Even those old enough to know better. I will never recommend putting these bracelets on a child again.

Wrist and Ankle Bracelet Keeping the Mosquitoes Away As I Do Yard Work
I slip one of these on my ankle and one on my wrist before I head out to do yard work and don’t deal with biting mosquitoes. After I’m done they go back in their ziplock bag for next time needed. So far each one has lasted several uses. I’d say at least 4 days. They might work longer, i just noticed the woodsy scent isn’t as strong. They probably still work but I’d rather not deal with bug bites. I’ve just slipped the used bracelet on my garage door knob for a week or so before tossing. I think it does help keep the bugs away even after several days. Definitely worth a try if you don’t like the overly chemical bug spray repellents.

They work
These things actually work! I like to sit on the patio and chat, but the mosquitos are out of control. These bands have made hanging outside peaceful again. I'm very happy.

So Many
I was surprised with how many come the box. I like that they are not overwhelming smelly and are completely water proof. We gave these to the kids as they headed to the pool to hang out. They said they did notice not getting bit as much by mosquitoes. My wife said she hooked the keys on it and didn't think about it as she went for her walk with the dog. Overall, I think these are a great product for the price point.

Easy to use
At an outdoor summer concert, I put one on each wrist and one ankle. I was enveloped in a cloud of citronella odor that kept me protected from mosquitoes. I offered them to friends with me, but they don't like the smell of citronella and wouldn't use them.
