5 Piece Walnut Wood Photo Frame Gallery Wall Kit with Decorative Art Prints & Hanging Template

I got two of these sets and two of the other set with 7 frames in it for a total of 24 frames with which to create my photo wall. (It's a pretty large wall.) The white frames and mats work great with the color photos I have in them. The frames themselves seem sturdy, and they were packaged very well. In a total of four sets, I didn't have any broken glass or problems. I like that the 12x18 frame comes with two mats: one for an 8x10 picture and one for an 8x12.The templates are easy to use because they show you where to drill the hole, so once you tape the papers to the wall and are happy with the way they're all arranged, you just drill right through the paper. They didn't tell you which drill bit to use, and I'm not always good at choosing the right one (probably because I'm impatient), but I apparently got it right since I got them all hung up. I should probably have written this review two nights ago when I finished because now I can't remember which bit I used. I want to say it was the 5/32" or maybe the 3/16" one. I'm getting pretty handy with the drill my boyfriend got me (jewelry would have been better), but I'm certainly not an expert, so maybe most things don't tell you which size bit to use. I may have been spoiled by the things I've been putting up which tell me what to use.Anyway, it looks great and I'm really excited and all nerdy and proud of myself.And as I've been writing this, my mom just called and wants me to create a similar look for her, so I guess I'll get on that.

Just unpacked two sets of frames and have to say they're of surprisingly good quality for this price. Each frame has hanging hardware on the back to accommodate landscape or portrait placement. The backs are held on with swinging catches instead of those terrible bendable prongs that always lead to broken fingernails. The frames themselves are true, have clean joints and are all the same color (I bought the 'walnut' finish). The glass is intact on all 10 frames...they were VERY well wrapped and packed. The mattes are thicker than I anticipated, not just paper cutouts. Best of all, the manufacturer included screws, anchors and a super-handy full sized placement diagram that'll save the hubby all kinds of aggravation when we get around to hanging them.

The frames are fine and good value for money at $35. However they come in brown packaging and thus not suitable if you are considering it as a gift for others. The Gallery Perfect 7 at $42 comes in a nice presentable box.

Used the mattes as our guestbook at our wedding and they turned out great! We had to add an extra frame for the sixth matte, but that was fine. We just decided to use all the available mattes that come in this set. They look amazing on the wall with our whole family displayed.

Frames are perfect for what I need BUT glass completely shattered on the largest one. Another has a fracture from front to back on the frame and a third (not in photo) has a gouge in the frame. Very disappointing since the job is now on me to send them back when they could have been packed better to begin with!!

I wanted some frames to match my (much more expensive) PotteryBarn frames. These are perfect! The color is spot-on and they look much more expensive than they are! I also like the templates that come with the instructions so you can plan the set-up before hanging. Makes it very easy to hang. Haven’t actually hung them up yet, will update when I do.

These frames will definitely work with my gallery wall. I was looking for a set with square frames, which is unusually hard to come by. The wood has a more red coloring than I was expecting, but it still works for me. The quality is a little so-so. There are some small chips in the frames that are only noticeable with close inspection. One of my frames had pretty disgusting fingerprints all over the glass. Although gross, it was nothing a little cleaning couldn't fix. My main issue is with the hardware on the back. All of the frames had rusting metal hooks/clamps on the back that were difficult (sometimes impossible) to move and adjust. It's like the frames were stored somewhere damp for an extended period of time and it ate into the metal.Although the quality is so-so, this frame set is a good affordable alternative for simple gallery wall frames.

With a variety of sizes, perfect finish and right down to the cutouts to fit the pictures.. it is a great purchase!

Just what I was looking for!!!

Closer to a mahogany or cherry, which happened to please me but if you are looking for a true brown, this is not it. Nice wooden frames, solid but thin enough not to detract from the artwork. Largest frame has two triangle picture hangers so you may want to have some hanging wire on hand. Did not receive a hanging template but did not need one as I was hanging them separately so no biggie. Competitively priced in the ninety dollar range for a five piece set, especially considering it's real wood and glass with hanging hardware installed. Contains the difficult-to-find-in-anything-other-than-black 12x16 and 8x8 sizes. Overall I'm very pleased with this set and would order it again.Have included 3 photos showing colour of frame in comparison to very red display boxes and other various wood tones.

Very nice looking bright white. Very hard to hang even with the template. The screws are to large to easily hang the triangular hook on. I wish it had the nail hook hardware in the middle. I ended up using command hooks on the large frame. The smaller frames the black backing didnt fit very well and created white dust on the clear glass very frustrating. I ended up throwing them out.
