I always have the hardest time buying gifts for my son-in-law. I was surprised at the quality of the print and thick, durable card stock. They are not your typical playing cards. The designs are unique, his friends scrolled through the deck choosing their favorites. He is happy with the mythology designs, the feel and thickness of the cards. I would buy these again.

I would have rather had the mythological cards but settled on these. They are fun and will probably become a conversation piece the first time they're used with a group. The colors are more muted than the photos in the listing, but this is still a colorful deck and I'm not disappointed in the pigment. The cards have a linen finish but are flexible and I think they'll stand up to repeated shuffling and handling without an issue. The illustrations of the court cards are already pictured here but some of them are kind of gross - snot bubbles or drool - and this gets a little repetitive. I would've liked to see more variations in the court cards of sleep that didn't center on drool. Either way, these will get used and the price is decent.

These cards have an artistic pattern from the characters featured on the Jacks/Queens/& Kings, to the detailed patterns on each card. In addition the cards from 2-10 are colored purple. Really cool cards!!!A must have for collectirs!!
