I did a lot of research while looking for a popcorn machine. I didn't just buy the first one I saw and when I finally narrowed it down I was still nervous about spending the money and being disappointed. Finally, I decided on this one and couldn't be happier. It came very well packaged and delivered right to my door. After removing all the protective wrap and card board I put it where I wanted it, gave it a good wipe down and cleaned it all up and made my first batch. It takes only a few minutes to heat the oil and only a few minutes after to have your house smelling like a movie theater. Absolutely love this popcorn machine and everyone loves it at my parties. One great feature is the unpoped kernel catcher. Once the popcorn is made you can mix it up and have all the unpoped kernels removed. So your guests/kids/family won't get a big scoop of kernels mixed with the popcorn. Once all is made, you can turn off the machine and just leave on the light and heating element to keep the popcorn warm and ready. I think this machine would be perfect for any family, house party, church or school venue or any other small event. If you decide to jump the gun and buy this model...you should be happy.As of the date I am typing this, I have had it for a few months and use it every weekend with no problems.

I've had this machine for over 10 years, pop several times a week and have had zero problems. It is very high quality for the price. I also have several co-workers who bought this machine on my recommendation and all of them are satisfied with it.
