The knife is excellent but it’s so sharp that it cut right through the leather sheath. I work in a kitchen and I’ve used it a lot and only just needed to resharpen the blade. After a month of heavy use.

I have had for most of my life, German steel forged blades and have been very happy with them for years. But I didn't have a long thin blade like this one.Ever since I purchased this blade, I have been using it almost daily. I love this knife! It's so sharp and fits nicely in the hand. It also looks nice in the kitchen.If you need a long sharp knife to filled, slice, trim.... whatever, this knife is the one.Hopefully it last me a long time too.

Using this knife to cut steaks is easy and effective. It comes from the factory fairly sharp, and it is easy to improve the blade's sharpness. It works great for me during home food preparation.

It's a really versatile kitchen knife. I can trim steaks or chop onions with it. It's one of my favorites. It's not too thick to slice vegetables or to thin to do heavy work with. I like the sheath too.
