Not a big fan of the plastic mounting ring which clips to the fan as it seem to induce some vibration noise. It is packaged well, comes with screws and a 7 volt adapter to reduce noise and intake, if you so wish to, although running at the full 12 volts isn't exactly loud (25.6db). It pushes quite a lot of air (around 156.27 cfm) with a decent amount of pressure (around 1.81 mmH2O) right towards my graphics card, hard drives, RAM and motherboard. It has helped knock off quite a few degrees on all components. Couldn't be better really, very glad to have purchased. The plan was to fit this fan at the front of the case, right next to all the hard drives in order to keep them a bit cooler while running. There was already a 120mm Bitfenix fan fitted in this location before, which was reasonably quiet but did not flow as much air, so I thought that seeing as the case would take a much bigger fan in this slot (250mm is the biggest), the new 250mm fan should flow a lot more air while hopefully being a little quieter too.The fan definitely flows more air as the new ambient temperature of the case is roughly 6 degrees C lower than before it was fitted, but it comes at a price! The new fan is not as quiet as I had hoped, with it being clearly audible standing at the other end of my living room (20 feet or so)! So if you are after something quiet, you will either need to slow this fan down (at the cost of reduced air flow and a mod kit or fan controller for the privilege) or find another fan.I would say if noise levels are important to you, don't bother with this fan and just use two 120mm fans instead, seeing as I think this may be one of the only 250mm fans available. Ich bin immer wieder überrascht wenn ich mir die Drehzahl des Lüfters anzeigen lassen, was dieser an heißter Luft nach draus befördert.
