My oldest got a very complicated paint by number and her younger sister wanted on so they could paint together. I saw this, and thought it was the perfect option. The younger was able to paint it without assistance and it came out really well. It took her about 2 hours to fully complete. She was quite proud of her finished product.

I got this paint set for my daughters who are 6 1/2 and 12. They both like to paint and they both did like the kit. You get 3 wrapped canvas paintings (unicorn, flamingos, mermaid). The flamingo and the unicorn, my youngest can do mostly by herself while the mermaid one was too difficult for her, so my older daughter did that one. There were just many small spaces on that one, while the others had much bigger areas to paint.It comes with 24 paints, the paints are thick and cover the numbers well and only require one coat. I like that the canvases come wrapped and ready to display. There were some gold hanging hardware just lumped in with the brushes, which I thought was odd. They should be in their own bag or they will get lost. We aren't going to use them anyway. You also get 6 brushes in varying widths. I didn't feel there was enough paint on some of the most used colors, so we ended up using some of our own paints. Overall, it's a nice kit and is a good value for the price point. The packaging is nice too, so it's also giftable.

Love this paint set for my daughter! It’s an 8x10 canvas which is a good size for an 8 year old to paint. It’s good quality paint!

I wanted to get this cute color by number set for my 6 year old daughter. My daughter is a super creative artist she loves anything that has to do with expression.This set is pretty fun for my daughter to do on her own. We love that after she is done painting each picture we can hang the canvas up on our wall.The quality and size of these pictures are great! The overall appearance of the canvases are beautiful.This color by number set was perfect for my 6 year old daughter and I'm sure that any child her age and older would love it!

My nieces are 4 and 7, and I always bring crafts when I go visit them. They love to paint, and I thought they'd like these paint by number sets. I was a bit worried when I saw just how small and detailed the pictures were, but I told the girls that since art can be whatever they want, it was okay if they didn't follow the instructions exactly. I was pleasantly surprised though, because they had a blast painting these! The only drawback is that they did need "grown up hands" to be able to open the small paint containers, but that's how all paints like this tend to be. The quality of the canvases is honestly top-notch, and I liked that they included hangers so the girls could put them up in their rooms when they finished. It may seem a little pricy, but the quality is great and it kept the kiddos busy for quite a while!

I like that this is a canvas set and comes with everything needed to paint. My nephew and I enjoyed painting this so much. We each took turns and picked out our numbers. Paint comes numbered. Excellent gift! Dries fast and can be removed from table if you get paint on it, just wipe it away with a wet rag.

I ordered this set for my 9 year old and 6 year old for some fun summer crafting. It's easy enough for a 6 year old and borderline too easy for the 9 year old. The paints are easy to use and well marked. The paintbrushes are just okay. I think if you have a child 5-8 this set is probably perfect. If you have a more advanced young artist, I would pick something more challenging.
