Everything appeared to be professionally put together and it worked just fine. 4 x 12awg to 2 x 10awg. Double check that your connecting wires (MC-4 connectors) are the correct gender for attachment - don't ask why I said that.

So as it looks, its good for connecting 2 solar panels together in parallel. I only knocked it down 1 star because it does feel cheaply made.
