Great coaster and dice, really useful for the long play, clear numbering too.
We really liked this set as it covered everything we needed for the long play. A sturdy and well carved coaster that holds our glass well and will age well through use. The dice fit snugly into the tray in the base too. The dice seem well balanced and roll well. The numbers are clear, even on the more complex shapes. Very happy with this set.

Comes with dice!
Here we have a "dice coaster" with a set of DND dice. It comes wrapped in two layers of plastic. As a note - it comes looking like a "craft" piece, but it is not. It is laser etched with an appropriate design, mine being as a Rogue. The dice are nice, the wood is light and larger than it may look - being about the size of a single. I'm quite liking it, but also note that it does not have non-stick base.

The coaster is not well made. The dice are acceptable.
🐉 This is a bit of a mixed review, unfortunately, which is a shame because I really wanted to like this product. It’s a coaster, with a laser-etched graphic at the top to park your cup and D&D dice thrown in that reside at the bottom. The problem is that it's not as well made as you might think, and it's not a completely practical concept.🎲 First, the positives. The dice are all smooth and well proportioned. They are made of a kind of marbled, swirly-looking plastic with an opalescent sheen to them. The numbers are infilled with gold paint, not always successfully on one of the dice, but otherwise they are good. There are no moulding seams to spoil your dice-throwing experience.🐉 The main problems are with the coaster. It is made of two layers of plywood laminate, stuck together. The two layers are not aligned correctly and are not glued well, so they are parting ways with each other in a few places. The top layer of the wood is coming away in some places, particularly at the bottom edge, and the path that the laser cutter has followed on the right side is not straight. I’ve drawn some arrows on my pictures, and hopefully you can see what I mean.🎲 At least the laser etching and cutting are quite fine in some areas, and the graphic is relatively pleasing. The problem with etching into ply is that sometimes you can break through to a layer where the wood is a different colour across the piece, particularly if the ply is not of the highest quality, and this appears to have happened here. The wood is unfinished and not sealed against coffee stains and the like. That’s the physical problems, but the rest is all concept. The piece looks attractive, but the D&D players that I know keep all their dice in a bag to take to games, and that’s where they live, not on a coaster.🐉 This is very much a decorative piece, and the quality is not durable or up to continual use. With some wood stain, perhaps black and red, some sealant, and a careful go with a file, I could, in time, make it an acceptable piece. The edges will almost certainly need to be glued. Otherwise, it’s a stocking filler at best. ⚖️

The near perfect gamer drink mat.
I do laugh at the photos with the cocktail and shorts based drinks. I've been playing RPGs since I was about 13/14, so over 40 years and in all my time, especially when a student, the main thing people have drunk while gaming is either beer (from can, bottle or glass) else coffee or tea. Forget the tumbler this has to take a pint pot or mug, and it does. In fact while my third picture shows a mug from the 2018 UK Travcon (alas not run since lockdown), I presently have an over-sized mug sitting on the mat.I actually purposely spilt on the coater to see how it would cope and the liquid was shrugged off with no problems. I would have no issues over tannin and coffee stains, but so far no joy. With the thickness of the coaster (about twice the normal ones) would expect this to take some bashing and abuse. In time I hope mode designs are brought out, covering Cyberpunk, Vampire, Call of Cthulhu, etc.The dice, they are decent enough. I actually did not read the description so almost threw the packaging away with them still inside. After all I have plenty of dice (and even keep an emergency set in the car).Over all very happy with this coaster, it is in use, and also may well be an option for some X-mas presents to friends this year.

Impressive themed coaster for RPGs with space for your dice
Dice and drinks are obviously two virtually obligatory accessories for an RPG session, so why not have something fitting in with the theme? The coaster itself is made from two fairly thick pieces of plywood bonded together (there is a noticeable groove between the two but they're firmly attached with a design that looks to be laser-etched albeit with enough individuality in the details that it seems at least partly hand-drafted rather than entirely CAD-created. If one were so inclined, the wood would take any applicable paint or stain if you wanted to colour the design. The coaster part itself is definitely large enough for any drinking vessel it's likely to encounter, being almost 4.5" across (with enough friction from the etched design to keep them comfortably in place), and the dice tray portion fits all the included polyhedrals (pearlescent which is a nice touch) with ease, and could probably accommodate one or two more. That said, the coaster section is not *quite* big enough to serve as a rolling pad, although the dice tray can do for rolling something like a d20 in a pinch. If you're anything like me who is always looking for ways to economise on the sprawl of the various RPG accoutrements in front of me at a game, this is more convenient for its security than its space saving, but for the price it looks pretty impressive and it certainly does the job as advertised.

Fun dice holder
This is a fun dice holder / coaster (although I would be a teeny bit scared having a drink so close to the action!) perfect for any table top game that involves dice, but of course, mostly directed towards D&D. I'm a warlock in our campaign, and I worship Cththulu so this is absolutely perfect! Love that you get a set of dice with it too, can never have too many dice!
