Reasonable Price, Lightweight, Compact, Protective and Portable, Travel Umbrella, Your Intimate Helper in This Season!

The actual umbrella is average sized, But when it’s closed up, I cant believe how small and compact it gets. Such a cool and unique design! It folds up backwards (the outer half is hinged to swing UP when you close it instead of down like most umbrellas). When it's rolled up, it has the inside out. I will say the picture isnt accurate showing the outside - out. This isnt advertised as a heavy duty umbrella. It is what it is. If you are looking for a nice, light weight, compact umbrella - for the occasional rain - this is your umbrella. NO umbrella is going to withstand a storm! I love this thing, and it’s in my purse right now! **UPDATE - unfortunately, this umbrella didnt even withstand a light rain with a light breeze. It certainly ISNT "windproof". It broke within 3 minutes of opening it. It's been too long since I ordered it so I cant return it. I wouldnt recommend this if you are counting on it to keep you dry in the rain or a light breeze. Changing my rating from 5 to 2. I keep two stars because it IS a unique concept. And it may be that I just got a lemon?!

Much more effective for shade than a rain umbrella. If what you want is cool shade, you'll need something with a reflective component, like this item. Otherwise, you'll have shade, and a radiator above your head. It's also a bit smaller than most compact rain umbrellas, which is a plus at big events. That is, you're a lot less like to draw complaints about blocking views or taking up too much space. The reflective component comes into play here as well, you can keep the parasol very close and keep cool.Compact and light enough to easily carry in a hydration pack or purse. Reasonably sturdy, for the price. It's one of those pick-two situations; effective, cheap, durable, pick two.

This umbrella is small and fits easily in my everyday purse without taking up much space. Material is plastic like. Comes in a carry bag that is good for after rain and storage. It is a small umbrella and therefore do not expect it to hold strong on a windy day but it is awesome for unexpected rain, not walking far, or non windy rain.My only dislike....it does not close in a neat manner. The “petals” do not overlap nicely making closed umbrella appear sloppy and bulky; nothing like the main picture. However the plastic strap fits over it and it will fit back in the carry bag.

This umbrella is soooo cute! I took it to Europe, and it came in handy with it's small size and rubber strap. Sadly, soon after I returned home it flipped inside out during a storm. Soaking wet from rain, I desperately tried to flip it back. It worked, but the umbrella was a little sketchy when I would try to close it for next three weeks. Finally it died on me while running errands. There wasn’t even wind on the day it broke, so I’m thinking the damage from flipping inside out and back was too much for hinges. Very sad!

I like this umbrella a lot, it is small and very light, but when it is opened it gives good coverage. I will use this only for sun protection. Since it's been raining non-stop since I got the umbrella, I can't give a review yet on its use in the sun and heat. It looks sturdy, and I haven't had too much trouble opening it. Since I spent more that I usually would on an umbrella, I will use special care with it. I also think it won't get as beat up as a rain umbrella, although it would be fine in light rain. I live in Florida where we have tropical rains sometimes, and I wouldn't use this pretty umbrella for that. The design on the outside is pretty and colors look nice. Will follow up when I've used it on sunny days.

The one and only time that I've used this umbrella, it popped inside out a handful of times. I love the idea of having a lightweight, super portable umbrella for my bag, but if it doesn't work, there's not a lot of point to it.I'm pretty bummed that I waited so long to use it and find out that it was garbage... now I can't return it! I would say that it you live in California, this might be perfect for you! If you live in Michigan like me, meh! This certainly won't work for someone who lives in Washington state!

I usually get my umbrellas at Costco... They are sturdy, reliable, and well priced. However my last umbrella had had it's day and I needed one for an international trip last summer. This was cheap but I figured it would be perfect for traveling and for the price it didn't matter how long it lasted.It was perfect. Small, light and compact, and fits great in luggage. It actually held up really well and I was still using it several months later until I accidentally left it in someone's car last fall and never saw it again.It is very light, and folds up into nearly nothing. Great for carrying in your purse or for traveling.

Was a bit wrinkled, but that was to be expected as a new product. It is sturdy and easy to clean. The closure is easy to use and better than your typically snap closure that can break or not fit properly. This closure uses a stretching "button" technique where the rubber security stretches over the button to close the umbrella fabric. The size allows it to be transportable wherever I go, whether it be school, work, vacation or home. The pink was exactly as pictured as well. Good for use of one person, but if you like to use bigger umbrellas for sharing, this one probably won't work for you.

I specifically bought this umbrella as I needed one to fit into a small handbag. When it arrived I was more than pleased as you can see from my photos it’s a neat compact item. Unfortunately that’s where the good news ends, it just didn’t work! I took it to my doorway to try out (too superstitious to try it in the house!) and it didn’t go up. I’d push it all the way and it wouldn’t click in. After about 5 attempts it did go up, but it didn’t feel very secure. Thinking I must have been doing something wrong I went and got my husband to give it a try, I didn’t tell him what had happened I just asked him to put it up and he too could not do it. I looked at the mechanics of it and couldn’t find why it wasn’t working. So sadly I returned this item to amazon for a refund, such a shame as physically a nice item. I cannot recommend this product, I’d look elsewhere if I were you.
