Safety First - especially when it's your child.
I bought a bike for my son about 2 years ago and relied on the included reflectors to protect him. I quickly realized, in the current high-speed world we live in he was at risk of a serious accident as he was riding later and later into the night. After a crash that broke off a couple reflectors this was my best option. It's easy to install; even easier to us and simple to recharge. But the cost, for me, seal the deal...and I got it the next day!

For safety, use the tail light, even during the day. At season end, Instructions: store it charged?
First Day Review: The Kukubano High-Visibility LED Headlight and Brake Light Set, KUKU300 came today. It's OK. Since it's green, I put them on a green 2022 Genesis Villotti bike, after quickly reviewing the Instructions, and first practicing the opening and closing of the Quick Release off the bike. The headlight was a little hard to install, but that will differ, from bike to bike, of course. Handlebar sizes vary, even as you go out from the center, and items close to the installation place (one of my issues) may make it more challenging than others. I did use the included rubber strip on the headlight mount, and it has a sliding hinge (whose position you need to watch if you're having trouble), to go on bigger bars. The Taillight went on quicker, probably since it has a rubber strap that is very accomodating to different mount positions. However, the potential bad thing about rubber can be the tendency to break after some time, so I try to limit that. I positioned it as high as possible, to be seen further, pointed it and briefly reviewed the power and mode buttons. It seemed to be secure, but if I grow concerned about it, or should it become jarred loose, I may add a plastic zip tie - but I avoid doing that, as they often have to be cut off to remove lights for USB charging. Both Li-ion batteries, seem to have come charged, so I don't yet know how long they last or how long charging takes (stated as 4 hr. for the Taillight). But the nice product box and User Manual have estimates, depending on the light mode, so that can be helpful. My biggest potential concern is the distance the Rear Taillight can be seen by cars, including during the day, as I rarely bike at night. The box says the Headlight beam distance is 200 feet, but the Tail Light's beam distance is just 10 feet! I don't think that's accurate. I turned it on, and noticed the circle shaped light intensity varied by my angle w/ the light (where I stood). However, I hope cars can see it (even during the day) for quite some distance. Yet, I have no good way to test that. So, I will continue my practice of having 2 red Tail Lights - either both on, or the 2nd Tail Light w/ me, in case a battery dies during my bike run. Yes, the Kukubano lights have Battery Light Indicator lights, but I have bicycles w/ different light and accessory products, and can't remember each function on all. I like short product manuals, but for those of you that need additional assistance, or choose not to keep the User Manual, it says you can email: help@kukubano

Essential biking accessory
I am a huge fan of biking recreationally around my neighborhood and near the beach boardwalks. I wasn’t able to safely bike during dusk or evening hours without this bike accessory. I am now able to see the path clearly in front of me, and it’s also key for my safety as a biker at night! Highly recommend to anyone who bikes recreationally or for sport.

ADORABLE PREMIUM HEADLIGHT & TAILLIGHT
The media could not be loaded. I was most curious about the 4 light modes & they were perfect. Super bright all the way to average brightness and there is even a flashing mode. The light is crisp and very visible in the dark. We just got my son a new bike in the same bright green color and it is going to match perfectly. My husband and I just want to make sure he is safe and seen at all times. So excited for this purchase and the quality is wayyy better than I anticipated.

Decent front bike light but not my favorite
I'll first start with what I think is wrong these these lights. The front bracket that the front light slides into is a bulkier and heavier than other brackets I've used in the past. Also the bracket did not fit the handle bars on its own... it needed a piece of extra rubber to make it fit snuggly. Luckily I had that. The issue I have with the rear light is the button to turn it off and on pops out relatively. It can also be mistaken for a flap to access the charging port.So what do I like about it? Well, these lights basically get the job done. The front light is bright enough to light the way. The holds relatively long, enough for a couple bike rides.I say these are basically average and there are better products out there for the same price point.

Runs on Micro-USB
The only dislike about these lights are their use of charging. They use Micro-USB, which is no longer a common type of charger. The battery last for a good amount of time, and they are bright. Would recommend if you need additional light for a project, or late-night bike rides.

Super bright lights for safety!
The media could not be loaded. First off, I'd like to stress the importance of using lights on your bike. In the cooler times of the year, the sun goes down early, so you're probably going to have to ride in the dark at some point. Even in the city, which is brightly lit in some areas, as well as lights from cars, there will always be stretches where there are no lights. Front lights are great to have, but using a rear tail light is non-negotiable.That being said, this is a great set of bike lights. The front light easily attaches to your handlebars with a built in screw and tightening lever, no tools are required. It's bright green plastic with a cute firefly design. You press the button on the top to flip through 4 light modes. One click is a steady white lightTwo clicks is a steady white light, but dimmer than the first.Three clicks is a pulsing white light.Four clicks is a blinking white light (my favorite!)The rear tail light attaches easily to your seat post with the included stretchy silicon strap. This really cute light (with firefly logo) is green when it's not lit, but glows RED when you turn it on!There are 3 lighting modes, one for each click on the top button. The first click is a steady red light. The second click is still a steady red light, but brighter than the last. The third click is a blinking light (again, my favorite).I can't speak for which light modes are safest on the road, but I feel that the blinking modes call more attention to the fact that I'm there. This is a fun set of lights!
