These are NOT real birkenstocks! I received them today in a plastic ziploc bag with nothing but a cheap “birk” tag. They are not leather and you can clearly see the glue residue where they glued the straps to the sides. The moment I picked them up I knew they were fake. I’m highly disappointed and will be returning them. Amazon shouldn’t allow these to be sold as the “real deal” as the description states.

I've been trash-talking birkenstocks for years. After a long conversation with a friend who dared me to even try them on, I did so. For someone with super high arches like myself, sandals are just not comfortable (that doesn't mean I don't wear them), and wearing sandals for long periods results in serious back, hip, and knee pain. Trying on birkenstocks for the first time was like putting on my orthopedic high-arch shoes. I decided to buy a pair, and I haven't worn another pair of shoes since I got them. Walking the dog? Birks. Getting the mail? Birks. Going to work? Birks.

My daughter has an inflamed tendon in her left foot. Her podiatrist recommended she start wearing sandals with greater support. The Birkenstocks are very popular right now at her school. Needless to say, they are expensive shoes so I was very pleased to find them on Amazon at such a good price. She is very happy with them, they provide the support her feet need, and that makes for a happy mother and child.

Disappointed the descriptions says 100% leather and these are not. The box even says Birko-Flor. I also think someone had them before me because the box has part of the label cut out.

just bought second pair of birkenstock sandals in this style. i've had the silver for 2 years and love them. the black will be great because i can dress them up. the amount of adjustment is what makes these so comfortable. and they are super lightweight because the cork weighs so little. highly recommend these to anyone, especially if you have wide feet that swell after hours of walking.

This is my fourth pair of this style Birk sandals. Because they fit so well, they take very little time to break in. I bought a knockoff last year of the same style, but they are already falling apart. Won’t make that mistake again!

I usually wear 7.5 or some times an 8 depending on the shoe type, ordered a couple sizes down after reading the reviews and I am so glad I did! I bought a 6 - 6.5 and they fit perfectly! hope this helps choose your size if your a first time buyer as I was! OH! and it took me about a week solid of wearing them for them to form to my feet and now they are SO comfortable!

I am very disappointed in this product which I purchased in June 2018 for a holiday in July . Worn that summer and brought about again April /May 2019 . The toe post snapped in August . I contacted the seller who informs this is wear and tear. I have family and friends who have had Birkenstock sandals for many years . My Primark £10 copies listed 4 years !..... I will not be buying Birkenstocks from Amazon again. I gave the. 2 star rating purely because they are so comfortable. I will be taking advice from Birkenstock company directly.

Second pair of Birkenstocks that I have bought in this style and while they are comfy, both pairs have not even lasted a year each, breaking and coming apart on the toe in the same place both times.They are expensive and should last much longer than this.Have tried to contact customer service about returning these for a refund and haven't heard back at all... has now been 2 weeks!!! Not a great product and not a great service......

I have been buying Birkenstock shoes for years and I m very disappointed with this purchase. I received the wrong color and the sandals were narrow instead of regular meaning I can't wear them as they hurt my feet. While I wasn't too bother by the wrong color, I didn't realised straight away the problem with the size. Only when I went for a walk outside and then compare with my old pair when I came back. Because I wore them outside, I now can't send them back. £60 wasted :-(

I am so impressed by Birkenstock sandals. These are very comfortable. I wear them round the house and can literally wear them all day long. I have had one blister but this was caused by a grain of sand getting under the sole of my foot when I was on the beach. The straps mean you can be a wide fit (like me) or a narrow fit. Also allows for high arches too with arch support.

Ich wollte die schicken und bequemen Sandalen Mayari von Birkenstock noch ein weiteres Mal kaufen. Dass die neuen Sandalen schwarze Schnallen, anstatt silbernen haben, störte mich gar nicht. Aber die schwarze Sohle ist so hart, dass ich nicht damit laufen konnte und beim Anprobieren nur stolperte. Die Ausführung der Sohle zwei Jahre zuvor war viel weicher. Sie lief sich zwar auch ab, aber war sehr bequem. So muss ich die Schuhe leider zurückschicken und hoffen, dass es noch andere Ausführungen gibt.Rückblickend bin ich überzeigt, dass es keine Original-Birkenstocks waren. Ich habe welche über den Webshop von Birkenstock bestellt und die Sohle ist genau wie vor 2 Jahren. Mittlerweile weiß ich, dass Birkenstock keine Geschäftsbeziehungen mit Amazon mehr hat. Birkenstock hat also keine Handhabe, wenn über Amazon gefälschte Sandalen verkauft werden.
