It is a rigid case and holds two loaded speed strip quite nicely. The strips are just flexible enough to be easily loaded and then use. it isn't bulky on the belt. Mine is for a 22WRM and I carry a 7 shot S&W 351PD AirLite. With a little practice, it works quite well.

It works but can be a little difficult, very well built though.
Review of Molded Speed Strips Pouch with Pack of 4 Speed Strips - 4 out of 5 StarsThe Molded Speed Strips Pouch with its accompanying pack of four speed strips is a product that holds a lot of potential for firearm enthusiasts looking for a convenient reloading solution. Designed to hold rounds of .17 HMR and .22 Magnum, this setup certainly brings its advantages to the table, though it's not without a few notable drawbacks.Pros:Firstly, I must commend the durability and construction of the speed strips. Once the rounds are securely loaded onto the strips, they stay in place quite well, ensuring that you won’t be worrying about ammunition falling out during transport. The molded pouch itself has a solid feel, designed to withstand the rigors of outdoor use. I appreciate the hook and loop structure for quick flip openings, which can be a game-changer for fast access when you're in the field. With the ability to hold a total of 40 rounds, the package seems well-suited for a day out shooting. The speed strips allow for organization and easy transport of your ammunition, which is paramount when you're trying to streamline the reloading process.Cons:However, in practice, I found some significant challenges. One of the most glaring issues is the difficulty in loading rounds onto the speed strips. It takes a considerable amount of finger strength to get the rounds in place, which can be frustrating, especially if you're trying to reload quickly under pressure. Once the rounds are in, they do hold well, but the initial loading process feels cumbersome.Removing the rounds from the strips presents another hurdle. While it isn’t overly difficult, the process requires a specific grip and technique to spread the rounds apart just enough to detach them from the strip. This can be time-consuming and takes away from the quick reload aspect that such products promise.Additionally, the pouch itself has a somewhat snug fit. I managed to get all four strips loaded into it, but it was a tight squeeze. Arranging the strips can be tricky, as I found that I had to turn one upside down in order to fit everything in. This arrangement isn’t ideal and made me question whether a different storage solution might better serve my needs, particularly if I would prefer loose rounds for faster reloading. Conclusion:In summary, the Molded Speed Strips Pouch and its accompanying speed strips do perform their intended function, but they come with a few considerable challenges that could detract from the overall user experience. For someone willing to put in a bit more effort for the sake of organization, this product could be a worthy addition to your shooting kit. However, if quick reloads are your top priority, you might want to consider other options. While I rated this product 4 out of 5 stars for its construction and potential, the usability issues prevent it from being truly excellent in practice.

Works pretty good!
Holds the rounds in place decently well, and I didn’t have any problems getting them into the little slots like I thought I would. I thought that would be an issue, but it wasn’t. Loading the first two together, then spacing the rest out seemed like a good idea for a six round revolver with a loading gate. I received all four strips as promised, and the pouch is a little better quality than I expected. It has kind of a leather feel to it, and it has some quality to it. There is also a divider in the middle. For myself, I think it would be best just carried in a pocket, it’s pretty concealable. Belt carrying is ok, but it will fit perfectly well in a shirt . I could get two of these in one pocket if I wanted to. Just my preference. This has a better “quality” feel to it than I expected.

Great concept but overly large pouch.
Speed strips have been around a long time but this is the first time I've seen them offered for rimfire calibers. I ordered the 22LR version because I have two S&W 617 revolvers that have 10 round cylinders. The spacing on the rounds in the speed strip mates up well to the spacing on the cylinder of the revolver and I can easily load two rounds at a time instead of one at a time if I were doing it without the speed strip. It's also handy to have a way to keep them rounds organized while in the field.I knocked one star off because the case is much larger than it needs to be. I suspect that this is done so they can put a larger belt loop on it to fit on belts up to 2.25" in width. I would have much preferred a pouch that fits on narrower belts that was more suitably sized for the intended cartridge. As you can see from the included photo the pouch only needs to be about half as deep to easily hold 22LR cartridges.

The compact carrier that could...
Once upon a time I had a pouch like this. Nearly identical in construction, it was made to carry (2) pairs of surgical gloves. I wore that at the small of by back while driving an E.V. for over 20 years before it started to come apart. Fast forward to this product...This pouch is made with heavy gauge thread and stitching like that of my old pouch. Designed to carry (2) separate ammo strips, (totaling 20 rounds) of any .22 caliber based rim-fire ammo. The depth of the pouch also allows you to insert .22 magnum ammo, being notably longer overall than basic .22 cartridges. Well thought out indeed. The speed strip loaders (x4) are cleanly molded with precise edges that secure the cartridge cases well. The overall build quality is present in the pouch, which may rival my old model in longevity. I've no reservation awarding all 5 stars here, especially factoring in the price.

Belt Carry Device For 10-round .22 Speed Loading Strips
I generally like this standard belt loop carry pouch for .22 caliber speed loading strips. While I think it’s an improvement over loose pocket carry, I wish that the profile had been widened so that instead of only holding two (2) loaded speed strips at a time, all four (4) of the provided speed strips might have been carried within the device. Not only would a widened profile accommodate more speed strips, but the somewhat tight fit could be relieved to allow easier withdrawal of loaded 10-round strips and re-staging when only partially unloaded (i.e. only 6 of 10 rounds loaded).I find the overall build to be of high-quality materials with careful assembly, and would recommend this item to fellow Amazon shoppers.Photo shows sizing comparison to U.S. Quarter Dollar.I hope my comments and photo have been beneficial in your considerations.
