Works great on iPhone 15 Pro Max
I’m pretty impressed with this cable. Looks well made. It is simple to use, but you need to choose a mic with a good bit of output. This will not replace a proper audio interface, but I wanted something that would allow me to use my phone in place of carrying something like a ZOOM recorder. This works. For recording nature sounds my Rode NTG-2 mic works great. I know a parabolic mic would be better but I’m just having fun. I found my Shure SM57 works pretty good general recording plus you don’t need to work about damaging the mic. So in summary, this XLR to USBC interface may have limitations, it will work great for simple mobile recording. I love it!

Worked perfectly
I got this for recording audio voice-overs for a friend's YT channel &, had I paid closer attn & gotten a longer one I could honestly say it's the best one I've used. I've had 2 others previously that had issues, one cut in & out & the other was just SO quiet, no matter how I set the levels it sounded like I was almost whispering. Which would be great if I were recording for ASMR; for machine learning, not to much. This one recorded crystal clear & at a volume actual humans could hear easily. Super simple plug & play. If it wasn't a 3 footer I'd still be using it, 100% - but again, that's MY non-reading self's fault lol.

Niche product with very satisfactory performance
If you have a fairly high-output microphone that doesn't need phantom power, this will get it into your computer or other device with a USB-C port quite nicely. I tested it with a couple of dynamic mics and generally had to have the gain up relatively high; noise was still satisfactorily low at those settings and overall audio performance was quite adequate. The outer jacket of the cable is a braided dark grey fabric that would look very nice on camera, and it's very limp and flexible, which is a definite plus. All in all, I'm glad to add this to my gear bag.

It definitely doesn’t work with my 3 rd gen iPad Pro 12.9 but works with my 2023 iMac
I ordered this in hopes to work with my iPad Pro 12.9 3rd generation , but it sure doesn’t work even tho they advertise like that . It thank God , it does work flawlessly with my iMac 2023 . The one I got is not a long cable , so I am using at my desk and it’s long enough for that . The sound quality is decent . Not the best nor bad . I think it’s well worth the price tag . I am happy with it .

Good value
I plugged it into my Windows 10 laptop and it was immediately recognized. I fired up the Reaper DAW and switched the input to USB Microphone in preferences. It sounds pretty good. I even used an adapter to take a signal from a little mixer that I plugged a synth into and it sounded great.

Diudnt resolve my issue but I think it works good
So I got a used mic that's basically crapping out. It needs to be sent in for service.I wanted to try a new interface to test the mic out before determining If I needed to send it in.as far as I can tell, this cable works great. Its a bit on the thicker side due to it being an XLR cable. Because of this weight and thickness I worry about the amount of strain it could do to a generic USB Type C port. But out side of that concern it does what it advertises. You may need a 48V Phantom power add on for some mics though. just check your needs before buying.
