Completely worth the money!
Microsoft Surface is the premier tablet-like computer. This is my second one. I bought one when Microsoft first made them. The machine is properly priced for the value you get. "Price is what you pay, and value is what you get." This saying is totally apropos. The machine is super fast, high quality, and has a very pleasing aesthetic. I am fully satisfied, completely & utterly comfortable with my purchase. If you value speed & quality, you also will be delighted. Never take the least expensive route when buying a computer. Ps. The battery is amazing, and because I had a prior surface, the set up was beyond easy.

Fast and light
Replaced my 16" laptop with this a couple months ago and so far I really like it. It is very fast and very battery efficient. I don't have to worry about a power outlet nearby and it charges or powers from a power brick. Prism works great and all of the x86 apps I use work fine. The keyboard is horrible, but that is a separate review.

Great experience
Bought on May 2025 and the experience has being great. Compared to my previous Surface Pro 8, this new Surface Pro 11 feels much snappier on battery or plugged in. I mostly use Microsoft apps and only a few programs that do not run natively on ARM (under emulation). So far, everything has worked great.

Great hardware but needs time
Great hardware but software companies are still getting caught up on the arm CPU. Industry standard software may run buggy beta versions as a temporary solution instead of the full tested programs you’re used to.

This Surface PRO 11 ARM PC is not worth the aggravation !
This Surface PRO 11 ARM PC is not worth the aggravation ! Had it one month. Locked up on restart and had to send it to Microsoft to get it to restart. After it was it returned it get locking up on restart. Didn't know if it hardware compatibility problems so I went thru one by one eliminated those which meant wiping PC clean and restarting from USB boot drive and reloading. The I starting eliminating software. Finally found that the problem was restoring Pictures and Music files from backup hard drives. Apparently the ARM takes a long time to actually finish copying the data to the C: drive and I was restarting before it was finished. Even though the dialog box shows that process is complete it is still running in the background and it takes like 30 minutes or more to finish copying everything over. I checked the properties of the input folders to the output and they were the same but the process was still running in the background. What's the point of a fast processor is it runs like an old XP PC? I would have returned the PC but my return date was 3/3/2025 and when I got all this figured out I was a day late!
