The MindShift Gear Lens Switch Case is an accessory storage compartment that slides onto the belt rail of the rotation180deg. Pro Backpack. The lens case is made of ripstop fabric and it features a 3" drop-down extension to accommodate lenses up to 10" long. This case comes with a fitted rain cover that conveniently stows into a pocket at the bottom of the case. The Switch Case can be configured as a single bag, or divided to hold two items. It will hold a wide array of camera equipment.

Great addition to the 180
The Lens Switch Case accessory storage compartment slides onto the belt rail of the rotation 180° Pro Backpack, but I decided this Lens Switch Case was the bag for me because it can work with just my belt when I don't need the 180. Reasonably priced for what it does. It has the padding that it will protect your camera and the lenses. It feels well made and the zippers are smooth. The Lens Switch Case comes with a fitted rain cover.

Great add-on for the Mindshift 180
This is a great add-on for the Mindshift 180 bag. It makes multiple lens use much easier. Normally, you can fit a camera with a moderately big lens in the main mini-bag, plus a small secondary lens or a flash with the camera. This bag adds an easily accessible spot for a second fairly big lens. Plus it can be used for other items, such as a water bottle. For example, normally you could easily carry a D600, 70-200 f/4 (with hood reversed), and a 50mm f/1.8 in the swing-around bag. This add-on case lets you add another lens -- I sometimes use it for the 18-35mm AF-S G lens, or an SB700 flash. At times I've crammed both the 18-35 and the 50 1.8 into the lens switch case, without even having to expand it.The lens switch case sits comfortably on your hip, back far enough that I don't hit it when swinging my arms to walk. The only downside is that it slightly interferes with the easy operation of the rear hatch of the main bag (i.e., the little door with the magnet clip), because it makes the clip a bit harder to find.

Just received this yesterday (havent actually used it in the field yet), but it is clearly a keepr. After just going through a long search for a new camera bag (the MindShift bags just werent for me as I was looking for a messenger bag) and settling on a ThinkTank Retrospective, i was looking for something I could add on to the outside loops and also use on my belt to either carry a lens or maybe just a handful of extras such as a speedlight, light modifier, filters, lens caps, etc. Not only does this case look attractive and extremely well made its even more versatile than expected. The bottom expands a few inches to accommodate a larger lens and it generally keeps more of a flat/low profile shape unless its holding a lens. The lens pocket has its own small divider plus the exterior pocket has some internal pockets for further organization.
