BOREAL21 Folding Bow Saw - Clear Frame, Yellow Handle, All-Purpose Blade

Sometimes a design is so perfect but the manufacturing or details make it less than perfect. In the Boreal21 Agawa hit a home run. Design AND build quality are fantastic. Beautiful tool. In my opinion, way better than Gerber or Sven. Great tool for car camping, kayak and canoe camping and even backpacking.

I really love that this is collapsable, it makes it super easy to travel with and great for camping and backpacking. It is also really sharp, and I have been very pleased with how well it works. It is quick and efficient and has gotten lots of use, a really nice addition to have to an axe, and makes it much easier to gather wood. Cuts quickly through large wood as well. The only complaint is the handle spot where you grab could be a bit more comfortable, it isn't horrible but it doesn't have the perfect fit for the hand. Over all I really like it, it gets lots of use, and the collapsibility is fantastic.

I was considering developing a folding saw. I have an old one that all fits inside its own aluminum tube handle, which is cool in its own right. It is a little awkward to assemble though, and I figured I could improve on the idea.Rather than endeavor to reinvent an existing wheel, I did a quick search for and found this one. I am happy to focus on other design challenges, as this product fits the bill. The design is quite clever. It is compact and safe for storage/ transport, and durable (for a folding saw). I like the option for the high-vis handle, as I am much less likely to misplace it after dusk at a campsite. I think it uses a standard blade size too, for eventual replacement.

I like to hike in the Uwharrie National Forest as often as I can. I was looking for a compact folding saw and I struck gold with this one. It has a little weight to it, but it is worth it. It cuts really fast and it great for processing firewood. I have used it on a few hikes and canoe camping trips so far. The blade is still like new. I would recommend this saw especially if your hikes are shorter and you like to have a fire.

I just got this saw and this is awesome. Works great. Feels durable and not cheap. When I show this to my friend he's going to want one. I'm probably going to order another for my brother. Price is a bit stiff but the durability will make it worth it.

Well made and high quality saw. The design is nicely engineered. The actual blade is super sharp.

This is a well built portable saw. I plan on taking it with me on a year-long adventure with no doubts. I've also purchased a dry wood blade and green blade. I have yet to find any shortcomings. By the time I wear out this first blade, I may have an update.

Works great for harvesting firewood. Wish I bought one a long time ago. Much easier then trying to use an ax.
