Andis 17150(TS-1) Pro Foil Lithium Titanium Foil Shaver, Cord/Cordless, Gray

This is one of the rare products I have bought and can’t now imagine life without it.It’s only now I realise I’ve been using a rubbish shaver for years. I saw this same shaver at my barbers that’s what made me buy it. Since buying this I cut my hair literally all the time and for months at a time the back of my head feels so lovely and smooth\bold.What I love about this shaver is has the closest shave of any shaver i have ever used. The battery life is also good and it makes quick work work of cutting my hair.

I’ve always tried to be on the more sustainable side, and when I fully shaved my head about a year ago I was annoyed to be using disposable bic razors to maintain the baldness. They caused irritation and it was a full ritual to get my head smooth again.I then tried using a safety razor to be more eco friendly, and while the shave was much better, I found myself covered in cuts more than half the time. With both methods I also got spots and ingrown hairs on the side of my head that was quite unsightly. So I went to my barber to see what could be done. She suggested using a foil, and she used this one specifically.After the barber foiled my head, it felt great! Very little irritation (I have sensitive skin so there always will be), and the shave was almost exactly as if I’d used a razor. So I came on here and bought the very same foil and it’s a game changer.Now all I have to do is run this bad boy over my head every two days, takes 5 minutes max, and zero cuts or ingrown hairs.Worth every penny. It pays for itself from the savings of going to a barber quite quickly.

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE AFTER SECOND USE: I originally gave this product 3 stars due to poor packaging (not cellophane wrapped and seemingly pre-opened and a missing cleaning brush). I did have a successful first head shave with it though . Now the product is defective after only the second use. The lid / casing doesn't close properly and when on it is completely unusable as a consequence . I saw this comment made previously by another buyer before purchasing the product and thought maybe it was a one-off and he was unlucky. I have exactly the same problem! Despite contacting the seller directly I have heard nothing back. I also bought this item for £78 pounds and two days later by the time i was writing this review it had dropped in price by £20. I'm afraid do feel as if i have been conned here. Extremely disappointing.I should say though although this product wasn't eligible for return as it had been used, Amazon have offered me a full refund. Thanks Amazon.

Writing this review after 15 days .The shaver is not charging with only two weeks use.I did not wet it with water shaver as such is working but charging indicator is not working Have complained to Amazon customer service. Response was very poor and uncooperative They are asking me to check for warranty Waiting for response from Andis.Writing this review after 1 month.Andis response was very good they followed through till I got my replacement with some hassles finally I got my new andis shaver.It’s bit harsh on skin but otherwise gives a very close shave.Thank you Amazon and Andis team.
