I recently bought the Makeup Kit for my 10-year-old niece, and it has been an absolute hit! The media could not be loaded.  I am kind of a makeup snob, and usually only go with namebrand. For that reason, I almost didn’t order this amazing set. I thought to myself that I could at least use the little brushes and sponge, even if the rest of it was horrible. Boy was I surprised. There is nothing here that I would not use. Well, I am not an eyeshadow person, so that is the one exception. If I were, I’m sure I would use that also. Let me start with the brow pencil. Look at the picture that I’ve included. The flat shape of this brow pencil allows you to make strokes that mimic actual hairs. Then, the other end of the wand has a brush to blend it into your brows. They come out looking amazing. Next, let me talk about the lip gloss (2 included). On my lips, one comes out as a brick red, and the other more of an orange red. It really depends on the color of your lips though. This is not actually a gloss by the way. It is somewhat matte and somewhere between a lipstick and a lip stain. It has a lot of pigment. Be careful if you get it on your skin because it’s actually not easy to get off. It will wear off in time. Now let’s go to the concealer. It works. It is creamy and smooth and doesn’t cake at all. It also does not seem to sink into fine lines and wrinkles. It is specifically for hiding blemishes, so probably more aimed at the younger crowd, but I love it for just touching up imperfections in my skin. The color is kind of a light warm beige. There is a makeup sponge and thin brushes that work well for lips. There is a liquid eyeliner pen that is pretty much on scale with one of the expensive brands I've purchased in the past. The mascara is average, but I would definitely use it. I am absolutely impressed with this set of makeup for this price.

I bought this makeup kit for my daughter, but it doesn’t seem suitable for kids. It has a lot of items that are more for adults, and the instructions are not in English, so I need to learn Chinese to understand the ingredients. The set looks nice because its packed like a gift, but it’s not really what I expected for a child. It might be better suited for older teens or adults.

This starter makeup kit has the basic essentials for just starting out. The lipstick is a bit dark/bright for a teenager, but it’s user preference. The BB cream seems to be a close match to most skin tones and blends well, providing ample coverage. The eyeliner is a felt tip applicator and goes on more like a liquid or marker, and lasts throughout the day. The mascara seems a little thick and sticky but applied easily. The eyeshadow was a bit glittery but again, user preference,- and the colors weren’t bad. The eyebrow pencil is more like a soft crayon and easily smudges, however, again that’s user application preferences. The added blending sponge is a nice bonus. All makeup was non irritating and didn’t cause any allergic reactions. It came sealed in individual plastic and boxed containers and all inside another sturdy cardboard box.

This makeup set is very giftable to a pre teen/teen. My daughter loved the liquid eyeliner and said it was great for making wings.

My wife picked this out her response. I love makeup kits; this one is a nice assortment if items.I started with the BB cream; I love how the BB cream is dispensed like lip gloss. The color is of a light or nude beige, lightweight, medium coverage. I love the brow crayon in light to medium brown, 2 ways to apply, liner or full blend shading. My favorite is the cat eye stamp and liner, note; give the stamp and liner time to dry before doing your lashes. The matte lip tints are both in a deep red, I have 1 tint on top and 1 tint on the bottom. I wore the makeup for about 4 hours, the mascara did not seem to hold up, and the lip tint without a gloss dried out my lips. The makeup is rich in colors and is easy to wash off. Give the liner and gloss time to dry as they will stain if you get it on your cloths.
