A Must-Have for Traveling with Little Ones!
I cannot express how much I love the Newton Baby Travel Crib and Play Yard. As a parent who frequently travels, this product has been an absolute game-changer for us.First and foremost, safety is paramount when it comes to our little one, and the Newton Baby Travel Crib provides peace of mind. The breathable mesh sides ensure excellent airflow, reducing the risk of overheating, and the firm, comfortable mattress offers a safe sleep environment. We slept soundly knowing our baby was secure.Setting up and folding down the crib is a breeze. It takes just minutes, and the compact size when folded makes it easy to transport. We've used it in hotels, at family gatherings, and even for picnics in the park. The included travel bag is a handy addition for on-the-go convenience. The versatility of this crib is fantastic. It's not just for sleeping; our little one loves playing in it too. The spacious interior provides enough room for toys, and the sturdy construction means it can handle the occasional toddler exuberance.Cleaning is simple - the mattress cover is machine washable, and the rest of the crib can be wiped clean with ease. It's a parent's dream!Overall, the Newton Baby Travel Crib and Play Yard is a top-notch product. It's safe, convenient, versatile, and well worth the investment for parents who travel frequently or just want a portable crib for their child. I can't recommend it enough!

Finicky but oh so nice
Oh Newton. How I love you. And yet you challenge me. Nothing’s perfect though, right?Believe the comments (warnings?) about disassembly. They are real for most people. This crib is big and luxurious, the materials seem worth the money. And it WANTS to go together—assembly is a breeze, just unfold and pop open. Pat it lovingly and appreciate its quality. BUT woe unto those who assume they will be able to easily take it down on their first try. I watched the video on the Newton website several times, made mental notes, and set aside time for a test assembly-disassembly run prior to my trip. I cannot emphasize how thankful I am that I did this. The woman in the video must be super strong and/or a freak of nature, or practiced herself a million times before recording it. Because omg it is hard to break down if you are a female of normal strength. I pulled and tugged and tried so many angles to get each leg to collapse correctly. There is a sweet spot/angle that if you hit, it works. If you miss it…nothing you can do will help. I got it packed up, but it took around 15 minutes and I was sore for three days afterwards.I am happy to report that my second experience was successful and have to credit my trial run. It was a crazy morning rushing to get everyone out the door to the airport and managed to break it down and pack it up in 5 minutes. So it IS possible. But don’t think you’ll get it on your first try.Caveat: my husband is significantly stronger than me. He watched me sweat through my practice up-down session and was able to break it down easily on his first try. This crib is so nice. I don’t regret buying it. And we took it international through checked luggage without incident (it fits United’s size limits and is not considered oversize!). But save yourself a lot of misery and practice before you go somewhere with it.

Buy It - This is a great Crib for home or travel
I looked for weeks for something that would hold my 21 month old grandson for naps and overnight. He is a very large 21 month old and our Fisher Price pack and play would not be sturdy or big enough for him. This has it all. High sides to keep baby in and an easy access zip door if you want to place baby in/out that way....with a security snap on the zipper so baby can't unzip themselves. I am 5'8" and the sides of this are tall enough where it would be difficult for me to bend over the side to place baby in it so you an be assured sides are high enough....I unzipped and placed baby in that way and zipped back up. It's very well crafted and well thought out design. Sturdy and we are very happy with this purchase. If you are driving and traveling that way this would be a good travel crib but if you are flying it would be difficult to bring as it is heavy and an odd size. It does have a storage bag and a sheet that comes with it. Highly recommend. It will be what I use at my house when the grand-kids come. Very easy to set up and take down - no pieces to put together - which is so appreciated!

Great unless you need to wash it
I love the size and it's easy to assemble/pack up. Unfortunately, my daughter got sick in it and we needed to wash the whole thing. It was very difficult to figure out how to remove the whole thing and way worse to put it back on. I struggled to find instructions on how to do it, but eventually found some instructions that were not super detailed. At least you can take it all apart to wash it at least.

babies love it
purchased this portable crib for trips to north Carolina, needed something small and comfortable for my twins. both babies slept better in this crib than a traditional pack and play. this crib is more difficult to assemble and take down than a pack and play, but packs down smaller and lighter to fit into your car than a pack and play which I feel is the standard in transportable cribs. the crib itself is sturdy but you do have to basically bend all the way down to the ground level to pick up your baby, so if you have a chonker, it may be hard on the back compared to some other offering which keep the sleeping platform a little more raised off of the floor.the mattress is really nice in the piece of mine factor that it is totally breathable. travelling with babies is hard enough let alone lugging around cribs and having to worry about sids on top. The mattress has a strange appearance but proves nice and comfortable in use. we have used this crib on many a trip with good success.

Huge play yard, well worth the money
The best play yard! Biggest on the market, my toddler sleeps comfortably with lots of room. We’ll be able to use it for a couple years.
