I bought this product to block ants from coming into our apartment from under the door. It's an old building and the floor slopes towards the door from the inside which I didn't take into account. So when I installed the strip, it dragged against the floor making it difficult to open. I then measured the gap with the door opened and closed and there was more than a centimeter difference. So unfortunately this product didn't work for me, but I'm still giving it a good rating because it was easy install and the adhesive is strong. The box actually comes with some tacks, I guess they're to nail the strip to the door (it didn't come with instructions) but I don't think that would have been necessary.

I purchased the black strip. I live in an apartment building and I had a good amount of space between the door and the floor. Clean the surface then dry measure the strip to the door before peeling off the back. Make sure the strip touches the floor but still be able to open and close the door. I've stuck this to the door then peeled it off because it wasn't low enough and it still stuck. I'm very pleased with the purchase and will buy again.😁

I like it because it rubbery but firm,it fit snug but please let it dry well, i think i didnt so i added crazy glue to the end of it because it came off a little . snug fit and works on my old drafty wooden front door. thanks

As in any product like this, you have to measure your door and gap from floor to door before you peel the paper off and stick it on the door itself. If it is too long, cut it. If it touches the floor, stick it a bit higher. Just make sure you measure everything. Other than that caveat, you don't need instructions for this product. It's peel and stick with your duty to measure precisely.

Have installed many door sweeps over the years and this product is truly the best. Out of the box I instantly was surprised how thick and heavy the sweep is. Its easy to work with and install. I ended up installing one on my entrance door and another on my storm door. Went right over the existing storm door sweep and reinforced it with black gorilla duct tape. Didn't have to drill any holes into the storm door. The doors open easily and the sweeps stay down.
