I got this so I can bring my dog and 4 month old places without my dog being all over her and it’s been great! It’s so easy to put together and fit my GMC terrain perfect!

I own a dog who has a fair amount of car anxiety. He occasionally needs anti-anxiety supplements or medication, depending on trip length. Regardless, every car drive results in pacing, whining, and restlessness with a mix of excitement and anxiety. He also barks when he sees people, making driving with him right behind me in the backseat a terrible (and arguably unsafe) experience. Prior to this, I would tie his leash to the headrest on the back seat, but he was still pulling so much of my focus when driving and taking up the entire backseat with pacing and whining. When I put him in the trunk, he would lunge OVER the backseats to get closer to me, even when tied in the back, nearly choking himself (yes, I came to his rescue, and no - when he is anxious he is not thinking of his well-being).This gate is AMAZING. I installed it by myself in 10 minutes and it fit so well. It's sturdy and essentially turns the back of my 2017 Crosstrek into a dog crate. He doesn't really try to get over it that much. He still paced a bit but was WELL contained and not huffing/barking over my shoulder or pawing at my elbows. He's safer, I'm less tense, and the relief is WELL worth the $35 in cost. Literally one of the best purchases I've made for him.

It’s easy to install and overall gets the job done, but is a little flimsy. I had to use my baby’s car seat mirror strap that goes already on the headrest of the back seat to help secure one side and used a removable zip tie on the other side, on its own with the straps it comes with will not stay firm.

Easy to install! So easy! Sturdy and keeps dog back! Fits the 2017 Cherokee. Doesn’t rattle and durable!

I put this in my Audi Q3 to keep my dog from jumping in my front seat. I also bought one for the back so she can't jump in the back out hang over it. She is a 100 lb catahoula leopard. I use it when I take her mantrailing and she had to stay in the suv while the other dogs work and she had to wait. It was easy to put together and install. It takes two people. I might have been able to do it myself but it's easier with two. It was cheaper than buying a kennel plus my dog had problems jumping into the neck of my SUV.

We have a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. I wanted this installed behind my 2nd row seating. The main/largest piece covers from left to right head rest very well. I had to place the straps at the bottom of the cage to get it high enough that my dogs would not attempt to jump over or pull it down. I thought it would be flimsy with the straps all the way at the bottom but it is very sturdy. The area I am not happy with are the two side pieces to customize to your car. There is no "good" configuration for my car. I can barely fill in the gaps by having the pieces all the way to the edge and bottom of the main piece making it to where I can only use one of the two clamps provided for the side pieces. The side pieces feel unstable but might be ok. I have pretty rowdy dogs and get really excited to go on rides. I hope they are not able to tear off the side pieces. We will see.

This is perfect for our rav4. Does its job and keeps the dogs in the back. Sturdy and easy to use.

I love it! Easy to install. I did it myself but a second person would make it easier. No more dogs trying to climb up front.

Very pleased with this, great quality and easy to fit.

This is very sturdy and easy to adjust. It was a bit tricky to fit single-handedly so if you can get help I would advise you to do so. I also supplemented the belt attachments supplied with cable ties to the head rest which made it a lot less wobbly. Overall I think it is a very good product and keeps my two energetic dogs from trying to join me in the front of the car as well as increasing general safety of the ride for them and me.
