Great product
I can’t tell the difference from this and the extremely expensive one I’d buy at my local herb store. It is very affordable.

Metals remover
It taste like the plant it is and earthy, many will not like that but I don't mind. If it is good for me I take it. I just add to water stir and drink. It is a great way to detox the body of free radicals and metals. do not take too much and follow directions or stomach upset and loose bowels if ya know what i mean, lol. It says organic, but not sure if has any metals in it, as like Turmeric is great but even organics can carry metals. So far though I would buy again.

Smells great and seems high quality
Smells very good and I love the cost/value. Very grateful for Anthony's brand! My children and I mix it in our morning smoothies. Very delicious and we notice improved energy when we take it vs when we forget.

Having problems since I took this - spitting up blood
I ordered two packs of the 8oz Chlorella powder and they arrived Nov 10. I've never taken Chlorella before. I added a scoop of this stuff to the smoothie I've been making for 6 months - haven't had any issues with any of the other ingredients. I was adding about a tablespoon at first. I didn't take it every day, maybe 5 or 6 times up til Nov 26.That morning I was in the shower and I had a lot of phlegm and a minor cough - as soon as I started spitting it out there was bright red blood with it. I'm a 47yo male with no health issues other than slight hbp (which I manage), and this had never happened before in my life. After 10 minutes it had mostly ended. I spent the next few hours walking around spitting into a white coffee cup. No more blood. Definitely weird but it came and went so quickly, I thought it might be something with all the viruses that are going around nowadays. That next week I may have put the Chlorella in my smoothie 1-2 times at most. It doesn't taste great, so it was never an every-time ingredient. I will say that whole next week, every day I had mild stomach cramping (but more like gas than nausea, and no vomiting) and really stinky gas. Like, bizarre-smelling gas. Not a smell I ever remember exuding. I also had a mild headache every day, and felt dizzy at times when I'd walk - like I couldn't walk in a straight line. Also, I noticed just a general uneasy feeling for a few hours after I drank a smoothie with the Chlorella in it. That was the only symptom I was clearly associating with the Chlorella at that time.A week after the first blood event, I had a smoothie that morning (Dec 4) with everything in it including a tbsp of the chlorella. About 2.5 hours later I started coughing a little bit and feeling like I had to clear my throat. After about 30 min of that I started spitting into a water bottle (I was driving). More blood. Not as much as the first but it was there. Only for a few minutes and then it was done. After that, with the weird gastric experience and the other symptoms, I decided to stop the smoothies altogether for a week. I did some more reading online and thought I was taking too much of the Chlorella, although I still wasn't associating it w/ the blood. The following Friday morning I had a smoothie with 1 tsp of the Chlorella for the first time since the previous blood event. The next morning I had the same. That evening (Dec 10) I had the same experience as the 2nd time - having to cough for about 30 minutes, then started spitting blood again. Now that it was happening for a third time I started really wondering WTF was going on. Not as much blood as the 1st time but more than the 2nd time. This was the third time in 15 days. And the 2nd and 3rd times I noticed it really seemed to be coinciding with Chlorella use.I stopped taking the Chlorella since then and haven't taken it since (been 9 days) There's been no blood so far. Headaches are gone. Weird uneasy feeling I was getting every time I drank the Chlorella is of course gone. Bad-smelling gas is gone although I still get a similar but weaker feeling of cramping off and on since then. The weirdest thing up to this point: my dizziness isn't as extreme as it was during those two weeks, but I am still getting dizzy every day if I move my head a certain way. This is nothing I've ever experienced before.I'm not certain if the Chlorella was/is causing this, and I've never left a comment on anything I've bought on Amazon, but I had to share my experience. The fact this stuff isn't regulated - no one knows where this product comes from and it sounds like the company isn't telling - and so many other people have had bad side effects. Apparently, this product is now unavailable on Amazon, but I don't know if that mean anything.Maybe this is what people go through when their system is purging itself of the heavy metals that Chlorella allegedly removes from your body. But coughing up blood? Not for me.And yes, I had a Dr. appointment last week and all my other tests look okay, so now I'm just waiting to see if the blood comes back and hoping the dizziness completely ends. But I am never touching Chlorella again, by any manufacturer. Peace.
