Wow, as a miniaturist I am VERY impressed!
This book nook is beyond exceptional. I have been a miniaturist for over 10 years. I have built a lot of doll house kits as well as made my own from scratch. I decided to build a book nook kit for my grandson for his birthday. At the same time I built the MiniCity Library, I worked on a Rolfe Time Travel Kit and Marycele Secret Castle Kit. After working on all three within the same week, hands down MINI CITY IS A FAR SUPERIOR PRODUCT.The pieces are quality MDF. They pop out easily, need minimal sanding if any and all printed images are clear and in line with the pieces. The book covers are stickers with readable images and font. The books are precut wood and easy to assemble. The other thing I liked about this book nook is the pieces often lock together which creates support. One of the first steps s the lights which are already connected and ready to go, you just need batteries. I appreciated this, since I have built a book nook, only to struggle with lights at the end. Not fun.I also appreciate the glue that was included. E7000 Glue has been my biggest struggle with these and now that I have used the provided glue, I will use it on all other kits. The dust cover really adds a nice finishing touch. I truly enjoyed this experience of making this. It took 12 hours, I had so much fun I couldn't stop until it was done!My only negative experience is it showed up later than expected. I want to be clear that the shop shipped it very timely, but it showed late delivery for over a day and nothing else so I ordered a second. (This is a gift for my grandson and I hand little time to build and ship it.) The second one came late and was delivered together with the first. That was a delivery issue, not a shop issue. Also, the second is missing a two bags of parts. However, the seller is replacing it. Customer service was great, the shop cannot control the delivery driver. I 1000% recommend the shop and kit!

I honestly couldn't believe what I was looking at
I have done well over 100 3D wooden mechanical models/kits with another 30+ left to do. I also have well over 60 Book Nook kits and finished close to or a little over 30 of them already. Since starting to do the Book Nooks, I have realized many important things. But 1 of them stands out as The most important to me ... MiniCity is by far the best company for these kits out there. They not only think up some incredibly crazy and beautiful designs that take your breath away, they also take great care in making their products. They do that by using really good materials and are strictly firm on the fact their customers receive the utmost positive experience and make sure to give any assistance possible. I own all but 1 of their kits and their "Beyond Library" is an unbelievable design and kit. Truly amazing!! (I will try to get my pics up very soon.) When I received it and opened it up, I honestly could not believe what I was looking at! The thought and care that was put into this kit is incredible. The material used is updated and crazy good. This update helps you see what part number goes to what without needing a foglight and magnifying glass as most do! I honestly just cannot say enough good about it. Now, there might be a hiccup that you come across with any kit you do if you are a perfectionist. Unfortunately, because of the job(s), I had to do for a couple of people, I've become one and it is not an easy thing to "grow out of". So, with that said, I needed to step back and think ... "Would you Really see that when you look into the book nook after it is completed?" If the answer was "No". I let it go. Easy to do. However, if you do come across an issue, I strongly suggest you reach out to MiniCity before you do anything else. They WILL make it right. They truly do care.I will give you a warning here:If you are new to doing Book Nooks, do Not start with this one! It has many more fragile pieces than others and that mainly has to do with the amazing plastic step guards they created for this kit, as well as other items. And like most Book Nooks, you MUST take your time and PAY attention!! If you are someone who does not have much patience, You WILL make a mistake and/or break something. If you are not able to concentrate on what you're doing, you WILL make a mistake and/or break something. If you are someone who just likes instant gratification? Get a 30-piece puzzle and call it a day. HAHA. Almost every book nook I've come across, and I have well over 60 of the book nook kits alone, and this one in particular, demands your time, patience, and care. Otherwise, you really shouldn't try to do them. Unless, of course, you don't mind throwing away your hard-earned money. If that is the case, have at it!!Overall, if you are looking for something truly amazing to work on and to look at afterward, I Strongly and Highly recommend this kit! You'll not only be glad, but anyone you show it to will also be amazed.Pics coming soon.

Absolutely Beautiful, not easy but worth it.
Great design, good instructions. Case was a little difficult to assemble due to having to align the staircases. Parts and accessories were of high quality. As with most of these some placement could be confusing to a beginner, but overall was a fun build and turned out just absolutely gorgeous. Still probably not for a beginner.

Cool End Result but Not the Best Quality
This book nook was super cool and intricate. I kept getting lost in all of the details and I definitely had some fun making it. With that being said, there are many aspects that made the work more tedious and it definitely took longer than 8-10 hours. A lot of the pieces do not fit together properly, even the two main outside pieces had to be glued together and it shouldn't be that way. The main pieces should all fit properly and just snap in and stay, but that's not the case with this specific brand. However, the instructions were super clear which I appreciated and the wiring for the lighting was very easy to understand with their directions. All in all, it was fun to do and the end result was worth it, but just be prepared for some minor annoyance.

Very enjoyable to assemble
I usually determine the difficulty of a book nook depending on how many lights and wires there are. There are three lights so it's not that bad. They also provide precision tweezers and glue with a thin tip which was very useful for other projects. This was my second booknook. It is a high quality product that I thoroughly enjoyed assembling but there are a few downsides. Some parts did not fit perfectly and made it difficult to hold together but a little bit of glue fix that problem. The lights were very easy to place and probably the best thing that helped me assemble the product was then tipped tweezers because some pieces were very small. The finished product was beautiful. Instructions are in color which helps find the pieces easier and very easy to follow along. An upside is that they do give you backup pieces which is greatly appreciated since the smaller pieces are fragile. I would suggest getting a miniature hammer instead of forcing pieces together. It took me about 6 hours to assemble.

Great gift
My granddaughter loved it as a birthday gift for her. It is very intricate but she had it done in 1 week. She loved the detail and the lighting.
