Very pleased with this coal dispenser. Now in the second year of using it & still works well

Don’t wast your money. This product does not work with standard house coal. It jams and coal can then only be accessed by removing the top which then causes its contents to fall out the top.Not fit for purpose. Perhaps would work as an animal food dispenser ( and a Very expensive one at that )

My use is to dispense coalite brickettes. The unit jams as brickettes try to flow through the trap into a bucket placed underneath. I have to use a broomstick to insert from the top and wiggle round to encourage flow. Not quite as convenient as it could be but better than scooping brickettes out of a coal shed. Idea brilliant but clogs all the time. For my application I would give it 6.5 out of 10. I can see it would be brilliant for horsefeed.

Finally found just what I had been searching for. I did not want a monstrous plastic monobloc type as is mostly found advertised. This has a relatively small footprint and hold an amazing volume of coal...all of which is accessable. The mechanism is a brilliant innovation yet quite simple in its design I highly reccomend this product.

Excellent product, really easy to use and great value!Less time in the rain to get coal.
