The base is solid enough, my only issue is that I wish the magnets holding the pink stands to the base were stronger.

It’s says they have strong magnets and the picture shows a solid base. But that is far from the truth. The tops fall off when you’re doing nails. The base moves around if you try to do nails on the table. Either way they suck. Definitely get the more pricy ones since they have stronger magnets and a solid base for stability.

The nail stands are like what the listing pictures show. They look solid and pretty, can make good displays. But I use them for other purpose also. I have nail tips. Normally you attach them to your nail, and then apply the polish. But if you want a good result, you do only 2 fingers a time so when you put your gel nails in the LED lamp, they are even - or the nail may have one side thicker than the other. And when I do that, I can't do other things in between. Now I put the nail tips on the stand, paint them first until the top coat. And finally attach them to my nail. It's like making press on nails myself and then apply. It worked well for me.

These are certainly not the best nail stands, but they will get the job done. Considering their current cost, they are a good value set and the quality falls in line with what you pay. The magnets do work. The acrylic base is hollow on the inside, so it is not quite as sturdy as the ones with the acrylic block for a base. The stands themselves are plastic painted with a metallic/chrome pink paint. Since they are plastic they don’t have the heft of the metal ones, but considering the base it’s probably a good thing they are plastic. The double sided tape works well (this is probably the best part of this set) and you can also use putty on the stands. Overall, they are okay, but if you are a beginner and don’t want to spend a lot, they will ge the job done.

I was super excited to use this unfortunately the first use the magnet broke off the bottom of one of the stands other than that it does its job

This is a really useful little gadget. It comes with a stand for each nail so that you can customize your press ons. It has magnets on the bottom of the stand, and then on the stand part. So they magnetically click together so they won't fall over while you're decorating. Now I don't have to worry about getting paint all over my hands. They also give you sticky tape to hold the nails onto the stand which helps too. This is a must have for the nail girly's. I love it. It has helped improve my nails so much! Awesome nail gadget to have!
