Israel's Moment: International Support for and Opposition to Establishing the Jewish State, 1945–1949

This book is basically a repetitious history of the resistance from the Truman administration's State Department between 1945 and 1949 to Israel declaring itself a country and the advocates for such a state. Once this theme became obvious to me, I was bored and scanned through the last 100 pages.
