I researched a lot of boards for my son’s first surfboard. I saw a lot of websites recommended this board unfortunately the shipping charge through the manufacturer website was more than I wanted to pay but I found it in Amazon for a better price! The board must be waxed before you use it. My son was so happy with the color and the handle makes it easy to carry. 100% worth it!

I got the 8 foot board and it had some problems with delivery but customer service was great and handled it. Once the board came in, it was in great shape and good for a beginner myself. I just took it out for my first surf and was able to catch a couple white water waves. Excited to get better and progress with the board.PS. it fits inside of my 4 door acura aslong as i put my passenger seat all the way back. for those who are wondering cause I did ahaha

Seems like a decent quality foam board for beginners. A little pricey for what it is. Initially got shipped the wrong color, but returned and got the right one the next time. My daughter’s taken it out about half a dozen times so far; seems to be holding up well.

This is an awesome board for the whole family. South Bay also has fantastic customer service and if I was looking for another foamie, this is 100% the one I’d get. Very durable, the handle is awesome, and it surfs well.

You cannot go wrong ordering this board! Really well built and beautiful. I ordered this board for my daughter's 9th birthday. It arrived quickly, but unfortunately was damaged by the carrier. I contacted Alex at Gold Coast Surfboards and he immediately took care of the issue! I have not seen excellent, personal customer service like this in a very long time. The surfboard is very sturdy and comfortable, and makes it very easy to ride the waves. My daughter is super stoked about her new board and I'm a happy customer! I highly recommend this Gold Coast Surfboard for any surfer who wants a quality foam board.

Excellent customer service, so don't hesitate if that is a concern. I waited to write my review until I used the board (8 ft longboard). I really enjoyed it. I had a blast surfing with my brother and looking forward to teaching the kids. This board was fun dropping in and still more maneuverable than I expected. So, if you are a beginner or more experienced surfer looking for a great surfboard, look no further! If something changes, with respect to quality/durability, I will definitely update. So far, I'm really impressed with quality of this board.

I loved this board so much and It’s definitely good for beginners and small waves.Easy to catch the waves and easy to pop up too.Unfortunately it didn’t last long at all.I’ve got this 6/26/2020After 2 weeks the leash had broken in the middle of surfing, especially the connected parts had broken so couldn’t fix. Then I reached the company’s out about that but no answers.Then middle of August (8) that fin parts had popped out from fin foundation.Again I contacted with them and no answer still now.Plus it says no needed wax but I highly recommend to wax on the board also it doesn’t work well as longboard as just middle fin. Don’t expect too much.Just less than 2 month and around $500 isn’t worth it.Nice board but consider to buy it.

It came packaged very well, I absolutely love the rubber emblem on the front, aqua color and the finger print design. I haven't had a chance to use it yet but will this weekend.* UPDATE : took it out to the ocean and only complaint I have is the leash plug started coming loose and I made sure all of them were super tight before going out. Otherwise very happy with purchase I just think the leash plug could be addressed to enhance it.
