Hiking Daypack 30L Travel Camping Backpack Blue

I wanted to like this backpack. I carried it a lot before using it for its true purpose which was as a spectator at golf tournaments. It is absolutely NOT waterproof. I spent 6+ hours out in the wind and rain and everything inside it was drenched! It wasn't even pouring rain - just a steady, constant rain with wind. I'm not sure if I would even say it's water resistant. So, if you're just looking for a backpack, go ahead. But if you're looking for waterproof, look elsewhere!

Great bag for the price!I bought this to hold all my stuff while I do wetland field work. I can fit my metal clipboard, 2 waterbottles, a small first aid kit, my sandwich and snacks with plenty of room left over to stuff my GPS and a light jacket. Used occasionally for over a year and no evidence of any wear or tear around straps or the bottom of the bag, all zippers working well, etc.The only thing I don't like is that the waterbottle holders on the sides aren't very tight or very tall, so sometimes my bottle (contigo) falls out when I bend over. Fixed the problem by using a carabiner to secure the bottle to the bag.

Overall, for my purposes, this bag has held up decently. However, I very rarely actually wear it on my back; just from my car to work and work to car, maybe 5-10 minutes/day, and there are already some holes developing in the mesh pads on the back of it. It is very lightweight, pockets are perfect, colors are awesome, however I can't see this holding up for daily school wear or more than a couple of actual hikes. But for the price, if you just need it to tote some stuff around here and there, it's pretty good.

I bought this for hiking with our family in Hawaii and it worked out great. We mostly used it as a carry on for my 6 year old but it also worked for a longer hike. The many pockets are nice for storing things and were easily accessible and the shoulder straps were actually comfortable. And it was a great value. It might be too big for a small hike but was fine for carrying more things like rain jackets and water and snacks for a family or for a longer hike. Over all it was great!

I love this backpack! I bought the yellow and love the color in person. It has many pockets, is water resistant and also has plenty of bungy or ties to attach extra gear. I used it for a 5 day kayaking/ hiking trip.

I shopped REI and other sporting goods shops to try on packs and know the size. This 30L was perfect. Not so big it has waist straps (didn't want) but large enough for a jacket, hat, waterbottle, maps, binoculars, etc. Very good quality and fantastic price. Very pleased.

Love this backpack. It is spacious and very comfortable to carry. Once strapped on, the shoulders are very comfortable even when full. I ordered green and blue. Zippers worked smoothly. It holds plenty of gear for a weekend trip. Fair price good quality loves it. Overall, its worth the money.

The quality of this backpack for a small hike is great! It's light weight and water resistance is a great added bonus too. The only thing I wish it had was a waist & chest strap to make it a little more comfortable.
