This made a huge difference on my Bachmann train set. I recently replaced the plastic wheels with metal. And the train wouldn’t pull. This tool cut a perfect cone in the trucks so that the metal wheels spin freely and fast. The train can now pull addition cars as well. Buy it now!

What a great tool . Used it when installing metal wheels on all my cars. The cars run smoother and no dragging . Must have for ho wheel working .

Works great to remove casting flash and irregularities in bearing surfaces. Used it to reduce rolling friction and extend the life on my locomotives.

I tried to use this tool to refresh a number of older cars in my collection, mostly Athearn blue box kits. Unfortunately, the tool was roughly 1/8" longer than the axle, which is a standard and common size not unique to Athearn. I tried to force the tool into the truck, but it nearly snapped the sideframe off. I'm not sure whether I recieved a defective unit, but the tool I recieved is effectively useless.
