Set is terrific. All the tools worked and has everything you need to do many different watch types. Was able to do the backs of all these watches. Great value. Works well.

Over the years, I have spent so much money at a jewelry store having watch batteries replaced not even realizing I could have done it at home so easily! I watched a couple of reviews and said to myself I can do that and when it arrived, I tried it out on one of my less expensive watches just in case, and I have to tell you it was easy and worked so well and now I will buy batteries here because you can buy an assortment of batteries for the price of one at a local CVS or Walgreens! Anyway I definitely suggest you buy this kit. The quality is great and you can't beat the price and ease of use!

I liked that it included all the components and a bag. For my small shop where I sell a number of watches, I need to be able to replace batteries easily, and this helps with that a lot. Removing the backs on those can be a chore. If you need something more sturdy for a bigger shop, this is not what you want. If it's for home use, like you wear a variety of watches, this would be perfect and a great value. It's just right for occasional use and the handy bag keeps it all together with a number of batteries, too.

I am just getting in to working on watches and the first thing one needs to do when working on a watch is to open it. I ordered this kit for that reason and it was the best dollar value I could possibly imagine. Within a few minutes of receiving this kit I used the tools contained therein to successfully remove the snap backs from two vintage Seiko watches I bought 40 years ago so I could replace the batteries. What a thrill to wear those two old friends once again! Total cost to get my old friends back was $8 for the toolkit and $8 for the replacement batteries.I used the watch vise / holder tool to hold the watch, and the chisel shaped tool to pop the backs off. No case damage, no scratches!Though I did not wind up using the other tools: screwdriver set, case back knife, and notched case opener, I found them and all the tools in this set to be quality, well built items. The screwdriver is anodized aluminum, not plastic. The notched case tool is likewise anodized metal and is substantial and hefty. The case knife and chisel shaped tool are both thick and well ground steel. And the watch holder is a dense teflon like polymer.Overall I am super pleased at my choice and I'm looking forward to using this as my base tool set upon which I can add more tools as my need and skill increase.

This little kit quickly paid for itself. It worked great on 10 watches with a mix of case styles (twist-on, screw, and snap) that I’d accumulated over the years. I swapped in new batteries and saved ~$10 per watch compared to taking them to a jeweler.

The tools that come with the kit appear good quality, but the main issue is the watch holder block has no gaps to allow you to slip the pry knife around the case.The pictures show the watch in the holder with the edges nicely above the edge of the holder, but unless your watch is the thickness of a phone book, the edge of the watch will be recessed in the holder. What's worse is the holder has a solid block on the opposite side of the crown where most pry slots are with no gaps for the knife.I tried several methods such as cloths, etc. to get the watch to sit higher in the holder but you'd be taking a chance at the watch slipping and you leaving a massive scratch on the back as a result.

Great watch kit. Great price. All the tools you need and good quality.

Like some others have mentioned, if you use this to change two or three batteries, it pays for itself. I found the quality of the tools to be remarkably good, considering the low price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

I bought a very inexpensive watch from Amazon. It was great but then the battery ran out. Knowing what was cost for someone to put in a new one, I decided to buy this kit and try to do it myself. I was able to do it. I did have to buy the battery though!. Even with the cost of the batteries, (there are a number in the packet), I was in pocket. Of course, when the battery runs out again, I can replace it at no extra cost.With a little patience and common sense anyone can do it and at this was my first attempt at 81. I was rather pleased with myself and the easy availbility of the items I needed.

I had a number of watches that needed a battery change. This worked great at getting into the backs. I still have a couple I couldn't open. But could be just lack of experience.

Parece ser que ante la llegada de los relojes inteligentes cada vez hay menos personas que se dediquen a reparar o poner pilas a relojes tradicionales, a tal grado que viendo un vídeo y comprando éste kit y unas pilas para ellos (se venden por separado) aprendí a abrir los relojes y cambiarles la pila. Lo único que me hubiese gustado es que incluyese una prensa para cerrar los relojes que se cierran a presión. De todas formas a muy buen precio, recomiendo éste producto.
