I have tested several and none shed any bristles.The brushes are comfortable to hold. This is a very attractive set to be offered as a gift.

One of the standout features of this set is the wide range of brush shapes and sizes. With 24 different brushes at my disposal, I have most types of brushes I would use at my disposal. The bristles are decently made. They hold their shape well, even after multiple washes, and offer excellent control over the paint. I've used them with watercolours, acrylics, and oils, and they consistently deliver smooth, even strokes. The nylon bristles also have the right amount of flexibility and stiffness, making them suitable for fine details and broader strokes. The aluminium ferrules are tightly secured, and the bristles remain firmly in place, even with heavy use. The slim bag is certainly a bonus to keep the brushes in place.While the brushes perform well, the handles could be more ergonomic. A more contoured or cushioned grip would make a significant difference for long painting sessions. When I first started using the set, a few of the brushes did shed some bristles. This issue was resolved after the initial washes, but it was a minor inconvenience at the start. It might be beneficial to thoroughly wash the brushes before the first use to avoid this problem.Overall, the variety, quality of the bristles, and secure construction make them a reliable choice for a range of artistic endeavours.

I ordered these paint brushes to use when painting with guache paints, I find the guache paint can stain the brushes, so I was wanting a set to just use for those.This is a comprehensive set, which if I'm honest contains far more types and sizes of brush that as a virtual beginner I would need, but it's still very impressive in terms of variety.The brushes come in a case which I've found easier to roll up as it fits in my bag nicely that way, there is a useful cover for the bristles, but it is really a very basic case, however it does its job well.The brushes are all clearly marked, so you can see easily which you need to go for, and the sizes I use most often are duplicated, which was very good to see.The bristles don't seem to fall out easily and as a beginner they do everything I need them to, at the time of ordering them the full set plus the case was just under £16, which I think was excellent value for money, so I'm happy to recommend them.

As I type this my daughter is on a plane flying from Sydney to the UK and I will be seeing her for the first time in 12 months this weekend.My daughter is an Artist.She will be here for 6 weeks but has left everything she owns in Sydney so I thought I'd surprise her with these and some paints and canvas so she could paint whilst she is her.To my untrained eye they do seem to be good quality and to cover every possibility, they feel well put together and on first examination it doesn't feel like they will easily shed bristles.But who am I to say, she will be here in 24 hours and I'm sure after a few days rest she will be off in the mountains capturing the Welsh landscape, I'll report back if there are any issues but I'm hoping not.

They are all nicely made, and the brush hairs are very smooth and soft. There is a great selection of sizes, and the brushes do hold a good reserve of water of watercolour is your thing.The case is nice, well made and folds well to close.Yes, I was a bit surprised by how nice this set is. I would recommend it.4 stars!
