Revolutionary in concept, electronic ink is a fusion of chemistry, physics and electronics to create millions of tiny microcapsules about the diameter of a human hair. Each microcapsule contains positively charged white particles and negatively charged black particles suspended in a clear fluid that migrates with the application of an electric field to produce an ink-on-paper appearance. To form an E Ink electronic display, the ink is printed onto a sheet of plastic film that is laminated to a layer of circuitry. The circuitry forms a pattern of pixels that can then be controlled by a display driver. These microcapsules are suspended in a liquid "carrier medium" allowing them to be printed using existing screen printing processes onto virtually any surface, including glass, plastic, fabric and even paper. Ultimately electronic ink will permit most any surface to become a display, bringing information out of the confines of traditional devices and into the world around us. Overall good, some issues
Overall good, some issues:- too thick, 10 mm plus does not look elegant as shown on web site.- screen contrast not very good as shown on web site.- intl time mode cannot switch to 2 zone time, which is more practical (than 3 zones).

Superwatch. Works exactly as it says
Super watch. Works exactly as it says. The dial is so easy to read. A very high quality piece. It looks great on the wrist. Fits perfectly. Although I have owned it but a week, I have not had one technical difficulty with it.

Fragile, but functional...usually.
I needed this watch to be good. I had been looking for a less-expensive world time watch and liked the idea of the gunmetal look. The glass cracked three days after I got it. I was walking too close to a wall outside my house and brushed the watch against it and poof - cracked and scratched. The watch should be more durable. It's a watch, not a showpiece or tablet. It still works, but is not my go-to watch anymore due to the crack and scratches.Pros:- Easy to read- World Time- Gunmetal looks good- Battery life seems to be good with the e-inkCons- Software is glitchy. The watch has frozen on me, touch was non-reactive at times, the time was completely wrong when I switched between zones and had trouble getting it back to my home zone. This is not good when you are traveling abroad and need the time to be accurate.- Fragile- Way too expensive for what you get- Very thick and heavy watchOverall, I would not buy it again.
