Better than a battery bank??
I bought this as I have several "power 4 all" batteries that can be used with this device as a battery bank. This year two battery banks, each costing more than this device, failed. Not happy. I've tested this item and it works as expected and having had a good experience of Bosch products for many years I am confident that it will serve me well in the years to come.

AMAZING i NOW HAVE 2
No need for Candles ANYMORE... This is my 2nd one ive bought... i Think a lot of customers have the wrong impression of this.... this does not charge this item up so you can take it off of the battery and keep in your pocket or clip on yr belt this allows you to use as a power source while outside or for emergency charging power when needed

Keep your phone charged when you have no power on site
This is great if you already have an array of the Power For All Alliance batteries (doesn't have to be Bosch). This has come in handy many times when I am working of a refurb and have no power, but need to keep my phone charged!Just slip it on the battery and plug into the standard or USB-C port and away to go. It is also handy to slip it onto a battery to see how much charge is left in it (has an LED display).
