Does the job - with style!
Excellent bracket for a large stand off from a wall, provided the item suspended, is not too heavy, In my opinion, anything up to 2.5 kg would be fine. This is definitely not suitable for an external hanging basket as the size of the anchor plate to the wall is much too small!

Quality is poor.
It's a simple design and what I needed for my indoor light fitting, however the quality is poor. It isn't straight so sits at an angle to the wall. I also had to repaint mine as it arrived heavily chipped. Couldn't see it lasting outdoors. I have bought another similar from an ironmonger which is much sturdier and better quality.

Useless for hanging baskets, would be ok for a lightweight bird feeder
The description is inaccurate. One cannot “hang whatever you desire”. The square section is not strong enough to support the weight of a hanging basket which is an obvious application for this product. It bends badly and does not have “added strength”. I bought because I liked the idea of a simple straight bracket but the metal it’s made off is not hard enough to avoid bending under weight.
