Natto Bio (Fresh) - Vitamin K2mk7, Nattokinase, Isoflavones, Probiotic Bacteria

I love natto and I am so pleased to have found this new source. It is delicious and compares to the best I have eaten both in Japan and in Japanese restaurants in London. It arrived in small, easy to eat tubs. Packed with vitamin K2, the taste is nutty and fresh, unlike some I have tasted. The company delivered it ahead of the estimated delivery date and had packaged it properly in a cool box. Cannot recommend it highly enough. It was well worth the wait and I will just remember to order a lot more next time.

I don’t know if it’s just something that wasn’t to my taste, but I thought it was gross... I love my fermented foods and have been on the hunt for YEARS to try natto. Ordered this and the smell was enough to stop me from eating it... smelled like the food waste bin ☹️

This natto is absolutely delicious. I don’t know whether it’s that I’ve gotten used to it, or whether this natto just tastes different to previous versions I’ve had, but I genuinely love it.A third of a pack is perfect for a lunch of noodles and rice. The best preparation I’ve tried is to cube some celery or cucumber and mix that into the natto with Biona horseradish mustard and a nice Tamari sauce. Mix it into the rice or noodles and it costs the lot - no need for other dressings.The natto arrived so quickly and so well packaged. I’m really happy with it.

Having read of the probable health benefits of natto in last week's British Medical Journal and looking for new tasty vegan options I thought this worth a try. Be warned that you only get 110g (1st photo - note box is about 4 inches long & not deep) for £10.45. It arrived in a well-insulated box still cool. Made in Poland! I divided mine into 3 portions as 11 portions would be very small, & put 2 in freezer as another reviewer suggested. Taste is interesting - nutty & slightly chocolaty but fairly bland. Had included scans of BMJ article but not sure about copyright so try bmj.com or ask a doctor friend

This is very nice natto. I enjoy this natto very much. However after a couple weeks of ordering this natto three of the packets have started to grow mould even though they have another couple weeks before their sell by date! One had been opened and the other two had not. I bought in bulk due to high delivery cost.I would like for the seller to see if their is an issue on their side as to why this has happened. On my side the only thing that could have caused it maybe is if the natto was pressed again the back of the fridge so froze with me unaware and that shorted the shelf life. However this could also be unlikely.Will I buy from them again?I will probably by once more again to see if it was a fluke or not and I did enjoy this natto and find it hard to get good natto like this. However if this keeps happening I will look somewhere else.I would Ideally like a refund from the seller for the three packets of natto that went mouldy.I might also try putting fresh ones in the freezer as you do buy natto from supermarket frozen sometimes.Hope this is helpful to any buyers.

I was a bit hesitant at first because of the very long estimated delivery time but I’m glad I decided to ignore it and order anyway. The product arrived in London within a day of dispatch, really well packed so the Natto stayed cool and it turned out to be really good quality Natto. 5 stars and I’ll be ordering again!

I could not taste because of the date 30 oktober 2018....today 1 November. The natto has arrived 2 or 3 days ago.I did not know I have to eat the some day as it arrive.

I love this. I order several packs at one time as they take a while to arrive, but they are well worth the wait. I have about a teaspoon or two of natto each day to give me extra Vitamin K2 in it's most natural form.People seem worried about the flavour - it just tastes like beans really.... I enjoy the flavour and eat it out of the packet, but for someone who hasn't tried it before, and is worried about the taste, the I can suggest having it on a salad initially, with some avocado and lemon juice squeezed over it for good measure! That is the way it was introduced to me and I took to it straight away!

Ich bin sehr zufrieden, weil das Frisch-Natto sehr schnell, in guter Qualität und in einer wirklich sehr durchdachten Kühlverpackung geliefert wurde. Hier merkt man, des sich der Anbieter große Mühe gibt, dass sein Produkt in einer Superqualität und frisch beim Kunden ankommt. Ich esse Natto es aufgrund des sehr hohen Anteils an Vitamin K2 und MK-7 und hoffe, dass es mit der Zeit zusammen mit Vitamin D für mich gesundheitliche Vorteile bringt . Der Geschmack ist für mich als "Natto-Neuanfänger" in Ordnung und gut genießbar. Ich hab vor 2 Wochen damit angefangen, mische es in verschiedene Beilagen oder Salate und vertrage alles sehr gut.

Update: 24.03.2021Ich bekam eine kurze und knackige Mail vom Hersteller nach meiner Ehe kritische Bewertung. Es ging darum dass der natto "europäischen Geschmack angepasst worden ist" wir senden ihnen eine andere Variante!!Gut, ich entschied mich es noch einmal zu probieren.Was soll ich sagen... Es ist ein Traum!Natto in Bio Qualität, japanischen Version treu, so local wie möglich , unkompliziert zu bestellen über Amazon!ドイツ在住で、納豆好きの日本人の皆さん、朗報ですよ！ビオで！ローカルで！日本ならではに限りなく近い納豆です！きちんとネバネバします。味もしっかりしたものです。食感ももちろん文句なし！お値段は送料込で考えるとちょっと高めですが、サクッと注文して3日ほどで届きます。一パック110グラムで少々ジャンボなパッケージではありますが、納豆好きな方なら…(ΦωΦ)ﾌﾌﾌ…かまわぬぜひお試しください！Die Bohnen sind klein, was den Geschmack kein leid tut. Aber beim kauen schon etwas an Biss zu wünschen übrig lässt.Es zieht leider nicht so viel Fäden. Ich merke schon, dass dieses Produkt den europäischen Geschmack näher gebracht worden ist, als beim Original, oder traditionelle Version herzustellen. Habe aber vollstes Verständnis dafür !!Ich bin Japanerin und hatte gehofft, dass ich eine gute Bio Variante von Natto made in Germany gefunden habe. P.s. karashi, dashi , oroshi... Nichts dabei? Natto schmeckt weder nach "Verwesung" noch nach "Erbrochenem" und auch nicht ekelig (wie manche der anscheinend mit Einrührpäckchen und Tütensuppen groß gewordenen Spezialisten es in den Rezensionen beschreiben).Der Geschmack und Geruch dieses Nattos (und auch von allen bisherigen, auch Gefrorenen, die ich probiert habe), erinnert an die Rinde von reifem Käse. Man erkennt den Geruch von gekochten Sojabohnen wieder. Die Bohnen sind sehr weich und sondern Schleim ab. Es ist klar, dass das nicht jedermanns Sache ist. Des weiteren kann ich mir vorstellen, dass viele Leute die Fäden, die Natto zieht, ekelig finden. Ich und andere feiern gerade diese Fäden und die schleimige Konsistenz.Es wird auch "der Käse der Japaner" genannt. Ich liebe es (nein, ich bin süchtig danach!!!) und esse es immer und am liebsten auf heißem Rundkornreis mit Sojasauce, Senf, einem rohen Eigelb und Frühlingszwiebel zum Frühstück. Aber ich kann auch rohen Lachs essen und Sushi Frühs, viele Leute essen den Lachs mit Meerrettich auf dem Brötchen. Seitdem ich fast nur noch japanisch esse morgens, geht es mir als Deutscher viel, viel besser in jeder Hinsicht!Ich ziehe zunächst einen Stern ab, weil mir der Hersteller keine Auskunft gegeben hat, wieso meine 2 Päckchen zwar geschmacklich einwandfrei waren, aber keinerlei Fäden gezogen haben.

Ich kenne Natto schon seit vielen Jahren und habe ihn auch schon oft selber hergestellt.Kaufte ihn immer im Asiashop und habe mich gefreut ihn hier bei Amazon zu finden.Das Produkt wurde schnell und super im Frischepack angeliefert.Es ist frisch und zieht Fäden, so wie es sein soll.Also eigentlich nichts zum meckern.ABER:Dieses Natto ist viel zu leicht im Geschmack, am Besten zu erklären wäre, wenn man zum Beispiel sich einen Romadur Käse bestellt und stattdessen einen Mozzarella bekommt. Ungefähr so kann man es erklären.Eventuell super für Nattoeinsteiger, aber nicht wirklich für Kenner und Liebhaber vom Originalen Asiatischen Natto, denn dazu schmeckt es wirklich viel zu neutral.Habe eines mit Sojasoße und Senf ausprobiert, war dann mehr als endtäuscht, denn es schmeckte nur nach Soja und Senf ohne jeglichen Nattogeschmack. Dann probierte ich eines pur, aber wie gesagt, auch dieses war nicht erfüllend. Einfach zu neutral im Geschmack.

Ich hab es mir aus reiner Neugier bestellt und diese wurde auch befriedigt.Gleichmal vorweg: Das Produkt kam schnell, gut verpackt und in untadelligem Zustand, darum auch, selbstverständlich, 5 Sterne.Was nun Natto insgesamt betrifft, für mich, es...nun, ich mag es nicht. Der Geschmack ist längst nicht so schrecklich wie gedacht, auch wenn es nach sehr alten, verschwitzten, Socken riecht und schmeckt. Mit Sojasoße und Senf ist's ganz ok, nicht gut, aber vermutlich könnte man es nach einer Weile ertragen, bis sogar mögen!Was es für mich killt ist die Konsistenz. Die Schleimfäden kennt man ja, nicht so tragisch, aber auch die Bohne selbst ist... Schleim. Wenn man (Achtung, graphisch) Hustenauswurf mit klebriger Stärke mischt... Ungefähr so.Fazit: Wenn man Natto mag, dann ist das ein gutes Produkt. Wenn man einfach mal super neugierig ist, ist das ein gutes Produkt. Der Geschmack ist... Geschmackssache.
