This product is a cheap grinder. It definitely is functional, but the way the seller praise the quality of their own product is nothing close to the actual product. This is a generic product with a logo - there are dozens of identical grinders from different "brands," and from my experience they are all the same, just with different logos stamped on. Ignoring the entire false product description, allow me to describe what I received. First, the glass is warped and has imperfections. A $1 glass jar of jam has higher quality glass. Second, the stainless steel is purely cosmetic - it's only a layer covering the plastic. They were quickly stamped from a large sheet, so the edges are still rough/sharp. It also leaves that bad metallic odor on your hands (even cheap silverware doesn't do that -- so is it food safe?). The top of the grinder is all plastic minus the cosmetic metal and the grinding mechanism. The turning is very rough due to plastic on plastic friction, and this is the point many people say breaks after a month. The ceramic grinder is nice, but the steel post that it is on is too small, so the mechanism is not centered which leads to uneven grinding and the ceramic chipping off (if it's set to fine). The adjustment screw turns smoothly, and there is a nice range of coarseness.Being honest, this product would have been fine, but the product description leads the buyer to have many false expectations. With gentle use, it would probably not break at all, but with a quick cooking style, it would break quite soon. I have the salt and pepper with disposable grinders from Costco, and those disposable grinders are the same quality as these, but those grinders turn smoothly, and the ceramic piece is properly aligned! These grinders are essentially disposable glass grinders - their internal grinding mechanism is worst than actually disposable grinders, so there's not much that sets these apart.I'm not going to say whether I recommend this or not, just be aware of what you are really buying. The description isn't lying, they just have very low standards, so their "premium" means "cheap but not cheap enough to break before your return window closes."

These are quite nice looking but I can’t adjust the grinder for the pepper shaker and the salt shaker glass just broke while I was unscrewing it to fill it.After a trip to the ER for 14 stitches on the palm of my hand, I’m tossing these dangerous grinders out.It wasn’t dropped it simply broke in my hand.Tried to contact the manufacturer but couldn’t locate.a websiteQuite displeased.I’m paying more for stainless steel instead.

When I first took these out of the box I loved them. The sleek glass design and how they felt in my hands. I then used them twice. They lasted one week. As I was making meatballs this evening, I clinked the pepper against the salt putting the shakers away in my cabinet and one of the shakers shattered everywhere. Ruined my meatballs, and I no longer have a pepper shaker. They look great but I do not recommend buying as they are no durable. I suggest searching elsewhere.

Great product! I like that it had some weight to it and doesn't look cheap. Easy to open and refill. That's what I was looking for since I was tired of soending money on the disposable ones!

Have been using these for my pink salt and they work great. Was a bit confused at first on how to adjust the size of the grind but figured it out.

Purchased the set of two 5.2 inch tall grinders in September 2018. We’re using one for peppercorns and the other one for Himalayan sea salt.Both units worked great right away, however, after a couple of months of use the grinder with the sea salt no longer worked. Disassembly of the grinder is fairly easy so I took it apart, cleaned out the salt crystals that were in the unit and then put everything back together. Still didn’t work.I contacted MIUMI direct from the “Contact” link on the miumilife.com website. Within days I received a response directing me to a YouTube video on how to disassemble and reassemble the grinder and asking that I verify all of the parts are installed.I reviewed the YouTube video and verified that all of the parts were there and replied back to MIUMI. I received a reply back, again within a day, requesting my Amazon order number, which I then provided.The very next day a replacement set was on its way to me.The new grinder works great right now but what really impressed me was their customer service. Don’t often find that dedication to customer satisfaction today.Highly recommend.

I've only been using these new grinders for a few days, but so far I'm very pleased. Previously, I had a taller dual mill, which held both salt and pepper. It was very inexpensive and made of some sort of hard plastic, which turned out to be a good feature, since I somehow knocked it over fairly frequently. Hopefully, I'll manage to keep this set upright, since it's fashioned from glass. I'd probably still be using the old dual grinder, but I took it apart for cleaning and never successfully got it back together again.These mills are sturdy with a good weight and hold a greater volume than I expected. The grinding mechanism is much more efficient than I'm accustomed to. I love freshly ground pepper and I could never go back to the grocery store canned version. The taste is just not comparable and the aroma is wonderful...Most of the time, these grinders will be for use in the kitchen, however, I wouldn't hesitate to add them to the dining room table for more formal meals, as the set is very sleek and attractive.
