The fabric is a good quality, not too thin. Hangs nicely. Thinner fabric shows every bulge you want to hide. I bought this for my husband’s birthday. He likes a pocket for his cell phone. He weighs about 180 lbs 5’8” ( I’m not exact on his weight.) Size large was plenty large. I almost ordered a Medium, but it fits perfect - not tight. The dark blue is beautiful color & lines on fabric run vertically. Shirt makes him look more slender. Good choice for a good quality shirt. Cheaper shirts have cheaper fabric which makes you look heavier, in my opinion. This one will wash well & look better for the long run.

If you're looking for a cool weather polo, this would be fine. The material reminds me of wool; it's heavy and scratchy unless you wear something underneath. The vertical herringbone stitching tends to expand and you can clearly see the color of a base layer or skin. The pocket seems like an afterthought where they stitched an open bag on. The style itself is good, the color is pleasant and there aren't any obvious quality defects. If you prefer a loose fit, go one size up and it'll be a decent business casual shirt.
