The Wireless CarPlay Adapter delivered on its promise of providing seamless and hassle-free connectivity to CarPlay in my vehicle. Setup is very simple and always performs as expected. It deserves five stars.

Bought this and tested it on my 2020 subaru WRX. Bluetooth worked and it paired and first asked me to use carplay, but then it never opened carplay on my stereo. Then I re-did the same process and even updated the dongle, and it is now just connecting bluetooth. Waste of time and money.

This wireless CarPlay adapter works great when it’s connected. However, if you are like me and often swap cars around with your wife, this might not be the device for you. I set up the adapter and was using it for about a week solo in my SUV. My only complaint with the adapter is that I have enterprise grade wireless in my home and in my garage my phone is still very much connected to it. It’s a pain to wait to leave my garage, yard, driveway, and even street before connecting to the car play WiFi network. But once you do, it is rock solid for your whole trip. Enter my wife. She took my car for the day and being a huge gadget fan like myself, immediately connected her iPhone to it. This was fine until we were both in the car that weekend. About a quarter mile from home the adapter decided to connect to her phone first, and some really crappy Taylor Swift song started blaring out of the sound system. She disconnected her WiFi, the adapter connected to my phone, and all was good for a few minutes until the adapter cut out and refused to connect to either phone. We argued, turned off our WiFi’s, turned mine back on… nothing. Finally I resorted to actually plugging my phone into a USB adapter for our GPS use and we spent the rest of the ride in silence both annoyed with my insistence on wireless car play.TL/DR: Good wireless car play adapter if you aren’t already on WiFi when you get in your car and you don’t have a spouse who swaps cars with you on the regular.

I should have checked before ordering, but apparently, my model of 2016 Buick Cascada does not have Apple AirPlay, so I'm not able to review how the device works, but it did easily connect via Bluetooth to my phone. This product did not work in my jeep compass which supports AirPlay.

I used this on my Daughter's 2021 Mazda CX-5, which does not have wireless carplay.Plugged it into the USB port inside the middle armrest, and paired it in seconds. Carplay came up on the screen almost immediately, and looks the same as it does when wired. The dongle has a blue light so that you know that it's connected, and it's very small with a short flexible cable.I was even able to close the armrest with no signal issue, so the Dongle is hidden. This one is perfect, especially for the price!

This dongle works great out of the box and easily connected to my phone. It then asked to run updates while connected to my car’s entertainment systems that also runs my saftety systems - I am not comfortable wth that so I took it back out.
